Avanti in South Lakeland

During our trip to Yorkshire Dales National Park, we decided to have our dinner at Avanti restaurant. The starter was delightful, unfortunately the mains were not as good as the starter.The staff was polite, but they actually charged us for a sauce that we didn’t order, it was very disappointing.

Unfortunately it had stopped serving lunch when we turned up. So we couldn't sample the food. But it did look lovely inside.

Lovely lunch, great welcome for our dogs - which many places in KL didn’t. Food was excellent. Thoroughly recommend 😁

Casual environment, lovely pizza and friendly staff 👍will come back again

We visited tonight and enjoyed an absolutely fantastic experience. From the greeting on arrival, the attentiveness of the staff, the food, drink and general ambience the evening was first class. If you are looking for special place to go this is it, we would highly recommend.

Excellent service, superb food: 10/10.We dined as a group of 5 on a busy Saturday evening. the young waitresses were efficient, friendly and professional, forgetting nothing. We had king prawns for starters, tomato bruscetta and black pudding and smoked meats, all excellent. Mix of pizzas, pasta Bolognese and mushroom tagliatelle for mains, with everyone being super satisfied with everything. Wonderful, we will certainly be back.

One word describes Avanti and it's "Quality", quite simply a first class restaurant. When you walk in you realise that no expense has been spared there and all the staff are very professional, efficient, helpful and polite. Now then the food, they are on a limited menu at the moment so we had garlic bread, salad and pizza, we didn't have wine we had a peroni because it was a little early in the day for wine but I must mention that I only drink Italian wine and one look at some of the labels desplayed "Quality". All served in a unique courtyard.

Excellent place for a meal. Fantastic experience. Staff were brilliant, very helpful and friendly. Food was only pizza, but it's was probably the best pizza I've ever eaten. Full menu to follow soon. Great place for a drink. Highly recommended.
