Baha in South Lakeland

Decor quirky but let down by the food, maybe I should have read the menu before booking… I was expecting boa buns, noodles and plenty of seafood dishes to choose from., but that’s obviously last years menu. We ordered crispy salt and pepper squid which was delicious, but the rest was a let down. The unbelievable burger was terribly sweet for a savoury dish and the flamed belly pork was completely covered in sauce and over powering. Not sure I would rush back was disappointed after spending over £80+

First time at Baha and really enjoyed it. Great service, friendly staff, excellent cocktails and a good variety of dishes on the menu. Loved the decor. Children and dogs are welcome too.

Went for Sunday roast with my daughter it’s an awesome place the staff were cheerful and just the right amount of attentive. The food was awesome served quickly and hot the unlimited gravy is a nice touch as often ‘posh roasts’ tend to be drier than my mother in laws sense of humour. I cried inside when it came with a full cooked carrot (a life time of hating carrots regardless of the supposed ocular benefits)but they somehow managed to make that tasty too ..will definitely be going again the table opposite had the afternoon lunch which Also looked nice

This place looks amazing inside, unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations. In fact it was pretty poor. I am not one to write reviews but I was actually very disappointed that I paid £75 for 2 adults and 1 child and It went in the bin. The steak was not medium as asked, it was tough, dry and drizzled in olive oil. I have never in my life had a steak drizzled in olive oil and my jaw started to ache eating it, I wasted it. I am not one to ever waste a steak but it was bad. My stomach feels sick now as I am writing this. I don’t like writing bad reviews, however, I thought I best write this, so others do not feel as disappointed as I am now. I would defiantly look elsewhere. I did inform the staff. The response was and that’s why I work behind the bar. £20 for this steak and it was not even a fillet. I won’t be going there again.

Incredible food, full of flavour! Such lovely staff and service also. If I lived here this would be for sure my favourite place to eat out and drink. Cocktails were so tasty, vibrant and well made. 10/10 for sure!

Had a quick meal here yesterday afternoon, the place is very cozy and has a nicely atmosphere. They offer a nice range of vegan options, which was also the reason why we picked this place to eat at. The food was gorgeous, the grilled mushrooms were definitely their best dish (among the ones we tried). The miso aubergine, though, was extremely overpriced (£12.90 or so) for the size and also very very very soft, like you could not feel the texture of the veggie at all. But they were topped with some nice mushrooms and the miso paste was amazing.Would definitely recommend the place 🌸

We had a Sunday Roast here. We were very welcome and the service was excellent. We got sat in a nice booth at the back which was nice as we had pre-booked. The food was excellent and the cocktails tasted good even though they were on the smaller side. We will definitely visit again.

The deco and place is lovely. One of the most beautiful restaurants to visit but the food is a little bit poor. Should improve some of the plates (burgers, for example, very basics: bread not very tasty, flavour in general very poor. ). Staff friendly and very helpful

Booked a table for lunch after seeing so many great reviews and pictures on social media. The menu had suddenly changed from the images we saw on Instagram that made us book, but it was still ok. I’m guessing because there seems to be a serious staff shortage in restaurants at the moment, so maybe they didn’t have a chef that could do their original dishes?! Still, the food was good and is definitely worth visiting. Big, spacious restaurant with good drinks and a nice atmosphere.
