Perfect stop for an ice-cream or snack if you're walking along the beach from Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre. Many homemade ice-cream flavours to choose from classic vanilla to exotic Turkish Delight. I ordered Salted Caramel Waffle Cone with a flake (£3.30) and it was absolutely stunning especially sitting under the sun and being near the beach.Loved it, recommended!

We initially drove past here whilst staying in Walney on the way to Ulverston and it was shut, however, after getting a light lunch in Ulverston we travelled back along the coast road about half an hour later and luckily it was open.We had only planned on grabbing a coffee to see what it was like and seeing what was on offer but the sight of the homemade (?) gingerbread at the counter was too much to resist with the glistening chunks of stem ginger on the gloriously sticky looking top and both were lovely (although as a lover of gingerbread, even more ginger flavour in the cake itself wouldn't be a problem!).We will definitely go back as we are currently here for another week or so as the ice-cream flavours on offer are just too tempting. The lady who served me was also lovely and friendly.

Extremely slow service. I was stood in the que for 22 minutes for the pleasure to pay £5 for a single cone.In response to the reply below. I did pay £5 for a 'single cone' with 3 scoops. To imply that their was slow service on your behalf because of a national shortage of staff is laughable. It appears that you employ young cheap teenagers who are simply slow at there job. That being said the ice-cream was delicious though.I would go back and support a local business.

Coffee delicious, tea bread delightful, not short on butter either, recommended and well worth the wait when they are busy!

Stopped off for a break whilst driving through to Barrow in Furness. Only had an ice cream cornet, chocolate flavoured, absolutely delicious and a generous portion. Would definitely return when back in the area.

Delicious ice-cream and flapjacks - good coffee - and the hidden garden is a nice spot when the sun is shining (or to shelter from the wind off Morecambe Bay). Worth a detour when walking on Birkrigg Common.

Lovely little pit stop that we didnt know existed!... that'll explain the hidden garden 😊Will be back.

We called in for hot chicks, and a great selection of ice cream. The staff helpfully pointed out the public toilets that we had missed 50 yrds away. Great outdoor seating in the sun. A nice coastal tarmac path connects the carparks with cooper lane beach too

Lovely lunch with a friend who isn't great on her pins We were helped get a seat with easy access and everyone is really friendly. Lunch was really fresh l had sandwiches, no curled edges! We both had delicious ice cream to follow. Would definitely recommend.
