Bodega Tapas Bar in South Lakeland

Food was very tasty and came quickly. Fresh and hot. However staff not the friendliest. We didn’t feel very welcome by the barman . Waitress was eating lunch at the bar and had to stop to serve us .

Ordered six tapas dishes. Only one we didn't enjoy was the lamb - too chewy and tasted more like pork! Apart from that both the food and drinks were good. Would recommend the place

Came in for a drink only and the bar man was great. Clearly under pressure as the only staff member downstairs but he was so pleasant and had a fun sense of humour. Would come back for his service alone.

This beautiful and amazing tapas bar would have got 5 stars had the bar host been a little more welcoming. Maybe it was a bad day. However the food was 100 percent gorgeous.

For a small paella 🥘 they are charging around 10£. Ingredients only some chicken 🍗and prawns with rice 🍤.

Ordered 8 tapas for lunch on weekday, except the seabass, all are terrible with no taste, patata is like frozen food, overcooked and hard, mini burgers with no sauce or seasoning, food are unsatisfying. Staff are unfriendly, no one come to take the order, have to walk to the bar to ask. Do not recommend at all😵😵

Great atmosphere and good selection of food and drinks. The food was fantastic however, waiting an hour to be seated for food and a further 50 minutes for the food to arrive after ordering wasn't Ideal.

Absolutely fantastic place!They have a lovely welcoming atmosphere with great staff, an actual beer menu filled with all your favorites as well as some Belgian, German and loads of variety to try! They also have a huge wine list, the music is relaxing and the prices are reasonable! It's right across the road from lake windemere and it's 100% worth a visit!

The best tapas we have ever eaten, spanish staff and good decor really made us feel we were in Spain. Sitting outside with a jug of sangria in the hustle and bustle was just perfect

An amazing place for food and drinks. The food here is Spanish Tapas and both drinks and the food are really nice. The cocktails were nicely balanced in terms of flavour and the food was really nice (couldn't fault any dishes!). The only down side is that this place is quite popular so you may have to wait for a while during peak hours (we tried to call them early on for a reservation but they didn't pick up). We had to wait for an hour or so before we got seated so we sat downstairs for some booze and we were not disappointed. Would definitely recommend even with the wait times.
