Brambles Cafe in South Lakeland

What a wonderful place to relax gave tea or sandwiches or both. Very nice selection of food during the day. Also the meals from other guests looked good. Freshly made. Very courteous staff.

We stopped for a quick sandwich at lunch. The young man who served us was very polite and helpful. The sandwich was lovely and filling . Great all round. We will come back

First day in the lakes..my battery ran out. Looking for a place to chill and charge my battery and to meet my mates.. most places were either packed or said no charger available.. and then along came Karen at Brambles.. what a woman..great cakes..and I asked for a cuppa tea..and the pot she gave was like never-ending.. my mates eventually turned up..ordered as well.. great place.. great find.. Lovely little cafe bar! Amazing coffee, sandwiches and sweet treats.

Soup was tasty and reasonably priced. Soft drinks were a rip off, £2.50 for a can of coke! Sandwiches were tasty, but a little overpriced at £6.95. Service was superb and staff were friendly.

Great service. They had no decaff coffee when we arrived but went and bought some. So went back after morning coffee for lunch

Really lovely little cafe, the staff were friendly and good humoured, and I enjoyed the jazz music playing while I ate my lunch

What a little gem of a place. The lovely Karen is a fantastic hostess. We had the meat and cheese platter which was delicious. Wine was very nice also. Highly recommended and definitely will be back. Kate and Rosie 👌👌

Walking around windermere and fancied a pit stop. Just a coffee on this occasion as we had eaten a big breakfast at the guest house. The menu looked great so we will be back!I only ever have coffee and cream. They can be hit and miss in some cafes, this was a definite HIT. Perfect. My husband had a latte which he loved too.Service was great. We sat outside. Chairs were nice and comfy and although it started spitting with rain we were kept dry.Really nice cafe.
