Wow where do I begin… we got married at Broadoaks on Weds 29th June & it was absolutely PERFECT!From our initial enquiry, to the actual day, it has being nothing short of outstanding! The staff, service, food & venue were all amazing! All our guests agreed, having the exclusive hire made such a difference to our intimate wedding of 34.The rooms were all beautiful and elegant. The food was perfectly cooked and presented, we had a 3 course dinner & breakfast the next day and all was very nice.The staff were all so helpful & friendly, nothing was too much trouble, they made us all feel so welcome.Ava was our wedding co ordinator, who was so friendly, happy, informative & very helpful!Thank you so much for helping us create the most perfect day we could have only dreamt of! We will definitely be back for a night away!

we got married here on Friday 17th June. We knew as soon as we saw the place it was perfect. The orangery we thought was especially beautiful. Where do I start when it was all so amazing….The staff were so helpful and friendly. Our coordinator was Viki and she was so helpful, she helped us at every step of the way. You can see how experienced they are and this really helps when you are worrying or unsure about how things will run. Nothing was too much trouble and even when there was an accident on the motorway meaning my parents were struggling to get up they were amazing. Waiting patiently and communicating at every point. Dan who hosted the evening and helped to run the bar was so professional and polite. How he has the patience when people want to play music for longer and have had a few drinks I do not know! A true gent and professional.The rooms are superb and the guests kept on telling us how great they were with most having jacuzzi baths which seemed to be received very well!The food was truly excellent; very tasty, generous portions and well presented. Having been to a few weddings you know that sometimes the food is average. It certainly wasn’t at Broadoaks and again guests complemented how lovely the food wasThe ability to get married on the lawn is another huge feature to this venue. We sadly didn’t as it started raining slightly, but right up until the last minute they gave it as an option. The last fab feature is the fact that you have the whole place to yourself and this gave us the intimate, personal feel that we were afterI truly couldn’t have wished for anymore and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this beautiful venue to anyone looking to get married.

Beautiful location near to the Lake District amenities. Would have been higher. Room had a fantastic ensuite with Jacuzzi bath, but only a standard double bed. Food was good but same menu both nights

My husband and I had our wedding at this amazing venue last week. From start to finish everything was perfect! The staff are absolutely fantastic. Our wedding coordinator, Little Jo, was brilliant and ensured our day went smoothly. However, in the run up to the big day we spoke with Viki and Amber who were also extremely helpful with our last minute questions/ panic! The staff on the day were also incredible and nothing was too much trouble (special mention to Ed and Sasha). The food was exquisite! All our guests commented that the food was lovely, even the breakfast the next morning. And the rooms! Wow! We stayed in the retreat and even though it was 2am we made use of the enormous jacuzzi bath! Our guests absolutely loved their rooms and have said they will definitely be returning. My husband and I are already planning our anniversary trip and cannot wait to return!

I just wanted to say thank you, to the brilliant staff, our wedding was on the 30th of March 2022. I can confidently say from the wedding preparations to the final day, nothing was ever too much to ask, all our inquiries were responded to promptly. The rooms were just stunning, our guests were very impressed, grounds immaculate, gorgeous views, plenty of parking. The food was also great, test and presentation, what can l say we had a fantastic stay at Broadoaks country house, and would highly recommend .

Amazing! Broadoaks Country Hotel. I went to Broadoaks for my sister’s wedding from co-ordinating visits till the celebration day we got the most excellent service from staff. The rooms are beautiful, Food is lovely.The venue is great . Everyone is still in awe!

I never thought I would write a bad review about Broadoaks, but unfortunately I felt compelled to do so on this occasion. Myself and my fiancee have stayed at Broadoaks three times previously, each time was brilliant, the food, the rooms and the service were all top notch. For the last two years we have been trying to book a room for a two or three night stay, but have had no joy due to no availability. This year we thought that we would book way ahead as to guarantee a stay. We phoned in October 2021 to reserve a room for three nights in August 2022, but were informed that we could not book so far in advance. The lady on the phone stated that we would need to call three months beforehand to book. I found this strange for a hotel, as I thought they would be glad to fill their rooms as soon as possible. I have just called again today at the end of April to book for three night stay in August, but was informed there is no availability. I feel let down and disappointed by the misinformation and integrity of some staff members as the female staff member I spoke with this time stated "I don't know who would have told you that" when I told them what we had been instructed to do to book a room previously. We have always enjoyed our stays at Broadoaks and hsve been loyal customers, as this was one of the first places myself and now fiancee stayed when we first started dating. It looks like the loyalty does not work both ways and sadly we will not book here ever again.I do not know whether the place is under new ownership or management, but the magic of Broadoaks has gone. What a shame, although we will still have our memories of our three previous visits when Broadoajs was managed and run by good, helpful, friendly people.

Attended a wedding here and it was was wonderful, lovely food and great staff. Might go back stay in the future but anyone looking to book a wedding they did a perfect job from start to finish, we'll that was my view on it as a guest 👌

Went to a wedding here. Had a brilliant weekend, lovely rooms, beautiful food. The staff were great and worked very hard all weekend to keep the guests happy. Beautiful gardens and grounds, plenty of parking. Well recommend.

Lovely venue! I went as a Celebrant for a wedding today. The staff were friendly, kind and helpful (thank you for the coffee). Lots of small touches in all the rooms which was so lovely. A beautiful winter's wedding, well decorated. Guests were also raving about the rooms, definitely a great venue for a wedding!!
