Bryson's Tea Room & Bakery in South Lakeland

Cakes looked amazing, but unfortunately didn't taste as good as they looked, turning out to be a disappointment.Customer service left a lot to be desired. Abrupt service, with staff not even lifting their head to speak to us. It appeared that as customers we were an inconvenience to them.

Good English breakfast, friendly staff and great service.

Such a fantastic experience, stunning Wolf and fantastic hosts. Looking forward to all the exciting plans ahead especially the pups coming soon, we will certainly be coming back to meet the pack.

Very disappointed, we picked here over anywhere else but it was the wrong decision. Coffee and walnut cake possibly the worst I've ever had, very dry with a strange white chocolate style coating. Maybe that's their signature but it's unpleasant and didn't particularly taste like coffee cake either. Waitress split tea over my table then brought me napkins to wipe it up. I mean she apologised and its just one of those things but over all disappointed with our experience here.

Stopped here late morning for a full English breakfast at the cafe bit upstairs. Was very tasty, seemed like local produce to me. Fast and friendly enough service.

The name and prices command a level of excellence that was not met. The toasties were of poor quality, with just some toast and a cold filling. We asked for chips with cheese, but alas no cheese arrived. The chips were just out of a freezer bag but they charged us twice the price of an entire bag of McCains. The amount of food for the price was also nothing special. The cakes were lovely and so were the drinks.

Wonderful place. The staff were really friendly and diligent when helping me to select some dairy free snacks. The cranberry and raspberry tea was yummy too. They also did a nice hot chocolate, which was perfect for a rainy day. I really like this chain, and given that I’ve visited different branches twice in one day, I’ll definitely be back!

Cafe is lovely and cakes look great, hopefully taste good too. However greeting from lady member of staff was, " are you buying or looking " from the other side of the shop while we made our selection. That was it. So hopefully what we purchased will taste a damn sight sweeter than the welcome.

Looked a decent cafe with lots of choices, though we didn't try any this time.

Nice friendly staff. Tea cakes and latte was good. Visited during 2020 lockdown and their set-up was professionally done.Much better than going to Costa
