Great cafe in Lancaster for afternoon tea. All of the cakes and sandwiches were delicious and the salad was a nice added touch. We were given extra cakes instead of scones, but we didn't mind. We were supposed to get the scones to take home but we couldn't find anyone to ask for them so we just left - no big deal. Unfortunately we asked for tea three times and each time they said it was coming but it never arrived. Otherwise we couldn't fault it!

We came here as a plan B after our intended afternoon venue was too busy. Let's just say Cafe Dolce will be our plan A from now on! Lovely atmosphere, charming and friendly service, and delicious cakes and drinks! I will be revisiting very soon to try the amazing-sounding breakfast menu!

For anyone that drinks Coffee black this Cafe has a great blend, flavoursome and no bitter aftertaste.Friendly staff and great food. They should think about selling packs of the coffee, I’d buy it it’s a great blend.

Afternoon cream tea was a disappointment, I could just about cope with the fact they put walnuts 🤢 and dates into a scone!!! But what I couldn't cope with was the fact it was over cooked and tasted burnt

First time here, visiting for lunch. The menu had an excellent choice. The atmosphere was relaxed and tasteful decor. Visited as a party of three, all picked different meals which were all very good. Will definitely return!

1st time at this cafe. All round perfect experience. Polite/helpful staff. Well presented cake and tasted just as well. Will be returning - keep up the good work.

We're regular visitors here when shopping in Lancaster. Eat in and take away options. Good, fresh food though some items I feel are over priced. Coffee and tea cake today for £4 a good sized teacake too! Plenty of comfy seating, attractive decor and pleasant staff. Take and seat and order at the counter.

We had a very nice breakfast at Cafe Dolce. From the beautiful decor, polite staff and big sized portions (of the pancakes especially) everything was just perfect. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely come back again. 🥞☕👍

Visited Cafe DolciCalled beforehand to ask if the menu was halalPhoned was answered by AnnetteWho made the effort of getting the information for us from the chef.Top marksVisited soon not long afterMet by a very professional gentleman, who was very polite and took us to our table. Forgot to take his name. Was stood at the front door. Great manners.Once at the table, we were given enough time to decide what we wanted to eat.We went for a few breakfast menu items.Tea was served first. Just to point out, one pot has 3 cups in there. So be mindful when ordering.Due to being busy, 45-55mins for food to arrive. By this time tea was cold. So i would recommend request tea with the foodOr if tea is provided then a biscuit or two with the tea is thumbs up.Eggs Benedict - Absolutely lovely, through and throughShakhuka - Too much tomato, two half slices of bread is not enough for the portion given in my opinionVegan Breakfast - Again more bread or toast is a thought for improvement. Avacado paste was cold. I would prefer at room temperature, but thats not a big issueGreat sized mushroomsGreat service from AnnetteAmazing setting and vibeMaybe consider introducing a more asian tea range with UNIK tea powder packets. Will visit again.
