Cartmel Village Shop in South Lakeland

The home of sticky toffee pudding. Absolutely delicious, you can buy lot’s of products there, definitely recommend to try the pudding and take some with you.Enjoooy.

26/05/22: quaint little village shop, right in the heart of Cartmel. Sells the famous Sticky Toffee pudding in various flavours, plus an assortment of sauces, chutneys and jams. This lovely shop also sells sweets, chocolates and bottled liqueurs.

Great selection of locally produced food and drinks. Loved the unusual shaped jars. Purchased the famous sticky toffee pudding and cranberry jam both of which were delicious.

Fabulous shop stocking lots of Sticky toffee puddings. Lovely deli counter and lots of other locally produced goods.

Delicious quiche, sandwiches and salads. Finished with their famous sticky toffee pudding which were also delicious (we tried the original and chocolate versions and bought the ginger one to take home). Service is relaxed. Upstairs cafe can get a bit busy but everything seems available for take away. Definitely recommend if in the area.

Absolutely fabulous village. The cafe upstairs is so lovely. Slightly squiff floors make it unique. The couple who served us were really nice. Helpful and pleasant. The sticky toffee pudding, well! What can I say, gorgeous. With whipped real double cream or ice cream. A must have.

A great selection of mouth-watering sweet and savoury products is always available especially the delicious sticky toffee pudding, which now comes in a variety of flavours. Upstairs is a cafe which serves freshly made soup, light meals, cakes and hot and cold drinks.

Perfect! Why? Cartmel sticky toffee pudding is simply amazing. Best I've had in a year of exploring! Nice Café upstairs with a view especially on the front. Don't miss it when you are traveling past!
