Churchill's Grill in South Lakeland

NOTE The advertised facilities are not now offered such as Breakfast included, No room maid, No restaurant anymore plus if several in bar staff to busy to serve tea/coffee Bar does not open till around 12-30 only have crisps and nutsIf you book through booking .com make sure you receive confirmation of booking before going, ours was not however they still had a room so we got sorted . Its locality is very good rooms are clean at start of stay

Lovely pub would recommend to any one xxx

Very tired decor and mismatched furniture. The extension is cold and unwelcoming, but has plenty of room for diners. Staff are friendly and approachable. There is a pool table taking over the centre of the main bar area which is not conducive to relaxing but great if you like pool. Food is served here but we didn't eat so can't comment.

Lovely outdoor setting. Barman couldnt be more friendly and helpful. Lack of a selection of ales and beers, ( only John Smith's on tap) on the day visited. Interior looking tired and could do with a clean up.

Really lovely pub tucked away in central Bowness-on-Windermere, the staff were lovely and the room was just what we needed. Considering the rooms were in an annex off the pub we didn't hear any pub-noise at all. Overall really accommodating and friendly staff, a cozy base for exploring the lakes.

Nice bar with large indoor and outdoor areas. Pretty standard range of draught beer and lager but plenty of bottled beer too. Pretty good on covid measures.

Lovely pub down a quiet side street. Great garden to sit outside in on a nice day too. The staff are welcoming and friendly, service almost instant and the prices reasonable. Tucked away it isn't somewhere you're likely to discover easily, but it's worth taking the small detour if you're looking for a relaxing time.

Very friendly people, lovely clean room. Thought we were staying next door but owners have sold that one on and concentrating on Churchill’sVery close to everythingWork to do in the bar with a start already to be seen, nice to go back and see what been achieved I a year maybeNo food as kitchen is being upgraded but plenty not far away.Thank you Kathy for making us welcome
