Comida in South Lakeland

Wonderful food, and a decent selection. Always comes out relatively quickly, and actually hot on arrival.Friendly pointer - on every occasion I've come in, the tables have been quite sticky. This is usually caused by over-polishing, and water/ sanitizer, which is a little unpleasant, but not really much of a problem to greatly affect the experience.

Just popped in for a coffee ☕ and what a lovely atmosphere, and we decided to have a flapjack, when the coffee and flapjack arrived with a pastry fork!I used the fork thinking it would be a struggle! it just cut into the soft delicious homemade flapjack the taste of it was sensational. The coffee ☕ was the best I have had in a very long time. When I am again in Kendal I certainly will be visiting Comida Food.

Absolutely excellent tapas. We had around three dishes each and our favourites were the Valencian fried chicken and the Sobrasado (bread with chorizo and manchego). Every dish was delicious and the bottled beer was good too. Quick and friendly service. Worth booking if you're visiting Kendal.

This was our final meal for our trip to the Lakes, and it was the best way to end our trip! The food was served hot, ingredients were fresh, and the prices are also very reasonable for the quality you get. Service was fantastic too. We'd love to come back when we can (:

This place is simply amazing! The could not have looked after me, my Mum, and my dog any better. Lovely place, great food and awesome staff! All dishes were brilliant but the cauliflower was as good as I have eaten. Thanks so much. Will be back.

Lovely Spanish style cafe. I had the full Spanglish breakfast which I would recommend to anyone. Good selection of Spanish beers. Service was speedy and attentive.

Food was absolutely brilliant. Really good flavour and a unique taste for every dish. I know that this is better than some tapas places in Barcelona. Staff were great being attentive enough to meet your needs but not intrusive. The whole restaurant had a chilled and edgy vibe and when the bill came we were positively surprised at how cheap it was. Would definitely return and definitely recommend. If you're considering Comida, you should go. You will not be disappointed.

What a lovely place…the attention from the staff is just perfect,Went on Saturday night for a friends birthday and not an empty plate was to be had….from ordering drinks to eating dessert i for one as the rest of us couldn’t fault the food at all….portions are perfect as is the food,which for me was some of the best tapas I’ve had (and I’m 50 so I’ve tried a lot)The only fault I have was the lemon my partner put on my plate after squeezing it on her prawns!! Which I mistook for a pepper and ate which was awful to her delight!!!Seriously go to Comida when your in Kendal as it’s perfect

Best Spanish tapas I’ve tasted in years, even better than a bucket load I’ve tried in Spain too. Not just the flavour, quality and presentation but the delivery within minutes of ordering. If you like tapas or never tried it then you won’t go wrong here.One owner from Valencia too.
