Costa Coffee in South Lakeland

Lovely view, nice latte and the young man callus is a credit to your company he couldnt do enough for you - when we are next in the lakes we will be back , 5 stars for callum xxx

Large seating area both up and down stairs and out on the patio. Only downside was the music being played far too loud for comfortable conversation.

The staff were friendly but their service was very disappointing. Their service was very very slow and unorganised. They left customers waiting for food and when they gave drinks they were often not sure of the drink they were giving. Such a shame.

The Costa in Windermere was uncharacteristically disappointing. Tables were not cleared. Only one member of staff attending to customers - the barrister had to take orders as well. The toilet was dirty and there was no toilet paper. Altogether an uncomfortable experience. I have always considered the standards at Costa branches to be very high, however, the Windermere branch fell far short of expectations.

Yet another poor experience in a costa coffee. Ordered just 2 Vanilla lattes, No Vanilla…. Took back to counter and politely pointed out the mistake, One drink got 4 shoots added the other just 2 ?? and not even a sorry or a smile. Thats 2 different Costas in 2 days that can’t make a Vanilla Latte.

Extremely slow service from this Costa . The staff are miserable and ineffective. In particularly the mature lady making the coffees is rude and ignorant.

Wanted advise on allergens and had to wait for a manager to come out from the back. When she arrived, she took a folder from the counter and looked up the reference on the page, seems like no-one else knew how to read the guide. Probably make more sense having details on the back of the ticket!The service was quick but not that pleasant, more functional, made to feel like we were problem customers.

Very qick service and clean fantastic location nice to sit out and enjoy a good coffee

On a recent visit to Windermere,it was so busy and with the two metre distance rules still in place we popped in here for a quick bite.We had three toasties,a flat white,a pot of tea and a hot chocolate and it was almost £20.It was spaced out well and there was sanitizing stations BUT there was only one toilet in use and it was DISGUSTING.

Friendly and efficient staff that offer a smile no matter how busy they are. I've been coming here early in the morning for 2 years, the coffee and cakes are superb, the toilet facilities are very clean and there are a selection of different comfortable chairs to sit on. Lots of room for pushchairs and wheelchairs. There's even free newspapers to read. Dog friendly terrace at the front and nice outside seating that catches the sun in the summer.
