Costa Coffee in South Lakeland

I asked them what kind of oil they used in the cakes and they served me with a smile thank you costa 👍🏻 you have the best staff

Was here on 31/05/2022 on my Wife's birthday when it was pouring down we felt very disappointed, at 4 p.m when the village was full of tourists not only from U.K but also overseas, the cafe closes???My proposals are;1. Close down permanently to not disappoint and alienate customers what is the sense of opening?2.Extend opening hours at least until 8 p.m daily ,over weekend alike3. Once the holiday seasons comes should be open at least until 10 p.m where its open at White City in Old Trafford in Manchester nearby, over weekend during the Holiday season might be open until 8 p.mManagement or Area People Manager should take this on board as losing lots of money unless themselves are extremely rich.Please take this review very seriously,shame if it was an option I would give no stars that I would put it on with no hesitation.

Not great today unfortunately, granted it was a busy Sunday with only two staff serving but we waited around 15 minutes to get served, the staff were friendly but slow. I don't blame the staff but the company being greedy for not hiring more people to help out. Whilst we were waiting we noticed that the door was open to the back area where they do the dishes and it looked scruffy with spoons and rubbish on the floor which is a poor impression to customers. By the time I eventually got my frappe I no longer wanted it. This is one of the worst Costas I've visited which is a shame as it's located in a beautiful location. They just need more staff and then it'll be good.

Used to be my fav coffee shop in Bowness, but since they changed to the American soya/oat brand Azez (?), which is horrible and full of rubbish ingredients, I rarely come here. They need to learn how to make a flat white - I always have to remove a third of a cup of froth b4 drinking. The grumpy woman with the long bleached hair just throws the drinks in the cup, froth and all. No effort made at all. Better coffee and service to be had elsewhere.

Went for a few drinks today and all the staff were very helpful and the cashier super friendly; the drinks were made quickly. EPIC!

Extremely rude staff, they made our order wrong then tried to blame us. Then decided to talk about us when they turns their backs. Absolutely disrespectful.

Lovely view, nice latte and the young man callus is a credit to your company he couldnt do enough for you - when we are next in the lakes we will be back , 5 stars for callum xxx

Very qick service and clean fantastic location nice to sit out and enjoy a good coffee

On a recent visit to Windermere,it was so busy and with the two metre distance rules still in place we popped in here for a quick bite.We had three toasties,a flat white,a pot of tea and a hot chocolate and it was almost £20.It was spaced out well and there was sanitizing stations BUT there was only one toilet in use and it was DISGUSTING.

Friendly and efficient staff that offer a smile no matter how busy they are. I've been coming here early in the morning for 2 years, the coffee and cakes are superb, the toilet facilities are very clean and there are a selection of different comfortable chairs to sit on. Lots of room for pushchairs and wheelchairs. There's even free newspapers to read. Dog friendly terrace at the front and nice outside seating that catches the sun in the summer.
