Cuckoo Brow Inn Restaurant in South Lakeland

Excellent evening, our first meal our since February 2020! Throughly enjoyed what we had, would only say that I personally found choosing difficult because so many things on the menu included smoked bacon etc. I have an allergy to anything smoked so my choice was limited.

Attractive old Cumbria Inn with good food and local ales. Interior lobby with open fire is welcoming though the bar area is a tad bland. Prices are at the high end though probably typical of the area.

Stayed overnight with my wife and dog. Lovely spot, the room was excellent and the food and beer absolutely top of the tree. We are going back soon but will stay for a few more nights next time

Food was excellent, waitress very efficient and polite, baby and dog friendly- need I say more! Keep up the good work!

Visited just before 6pm in December. Ambience lacked warmth and cohesion. Staff were friendly but food was a really odd mix, overpriced, and really poor in the case of two of our five dishes (flatbread; burger). At almost double the price of other venues in the area we expected a much better experience. Cannot recommend.

I would be very impressed with this pub if the prices weren't so high. Very expensive for what you get. The food is good quality and very attentive staff, just far too expensive for me to have completely enjoyed the meal.

Enjoyed a pleasant drink in their outside garden but unfortunately we were too late for lunchtime food, so made do with crisps. The lady serving was pleasant and friendly, interupting her hoovering to serve me!!

Beautiful country Inn. Lovely rooms and amazing evening meal with brilliant service and perfect atmosphere. The owners are very lovely and helped make our stay even better! Would definitely stay again
