Amazing coffee! Such a lovely, friendly, family run business. Definitely recommend a visit for coffee and the absolutely mind blowing freshly baked cake! It was so good we visited 3 times on holiday - if we’re ever back in the area, we will be back!! Thank you 😀

Fantastic coffee from a friendly, family run business. When travelling away from home, we are always searching for the perfect cup of coffee. It can be challenging to find speciality coffee prepared and presented nicely. The first visit on our holiday to Windermere at Dr Brews was fantastic. So good in fact that we had to return! Our Piccolo and Flat White were exceptional. The espresso was extracted perfectly and the blend of coffee used was really tasty.Thank you for providing a warm and genuine welcome, matched with splendid beverages.

Without doubt, the best coffee shop in the area. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, the coffee is top notch and the cakes are sublime (freshly homemade in store!), they were still warm from the oven when we arrivedBanana bread? More like banana love ❤️

The cakes served here are too good to resist. We went back to back twice during our stay at Windermere. Great coffee too and the staff are super friendly and polite. Cakes were served with clotted cream which was a new experience for us and tasted amazing, lemon drizzle cake is to die for. A must visit cafe in Windermere if you love cakes and coffee 😀

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, great coffee and exceptional cake and service. The lemon drizzle was the best ever. Very chilled atmosphere and music. A must for our next visit to the Lakes

I Love this place! I had a pastrami and emmental sandwich on toasted sourdough and it was absolutely delicious, a generous filling too - the best sandwich I’ve had in the UK by far!Coffee was delicious and in a decent size cup - a refreshing change around these parts.Very friendly welcome, fine eclectic mix of music and quirky decor, fantastic food what’s not to like?To the owners, I doff my cap.

The best coffee I've had in a while and certainly on our two week trip. Also a very generously sized bacon roll! The cakes were brilliant too!

Had the carrot cake to go after reading reviews about it - it was excellent! Huge portion size (if you get the right one; they vary in size), very moist and tasty, and the cream cheese frosting balanced it all very well. The cakes are a bit on the pricey side, but I think it’s worth it for the taste and portion size. The other cakes looked delicious too. Highly recommend the cakes from here!

Fantastic! Proper coffee and home made cakes fresh from the oven. The owners were lovely with our children and made them both mini milkshakes. Perfect!

Stopped over with my husband and little boy this morning whilst visiting Windermere. What a lovely find it was . From the moment we entered the owners were really welcoming and were super helpful especially as we had a baby with us.The coffee by far the best coffee we have had in a while and the cakes were to die for , so much so that we took some away to enjoy with our tea when we got home.We will definitely be returning when we are in Windermere again. Anyone looking for a friendly cafe should definitely visit . Love little gems like this, with owners who really care . All the best
