Very nice. It was clean and very friendly staff. The coffee was okay. The carrot cake was fabulous 👌 and the scone with jam and cream delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic table service. Coffee, excellent with choices of many types of milk. Cakes fabulous. Lunchtime food also looked and smelled delicious. Good selections of everything. Vibrant indoor and outdoor dining. Dogs allowed but soggy doggies have to stay al fresco.

The service... It is just poor. The staff just doesn't want to talk to you. I had an impression that they wanted to finish they day as soon as possible, so I felt not welcomed although arrived 2 hours before they official end of work day. They didn't want to take the order, said the kitchen was closed and were very grumpy.

We sat outside and had two savoury pancakes which were lovely - just a little too much cheese for us.

Only called in for a couple of smoothies and shared a cream scone between us. The scone was lovely and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. Gave us a spare plate, knife / fork together with a serviette without the need to ask for one. Looking around, the cakes served looked to be generous portions and I will be sure to try one next time we visit. Really clean environment too. Thank you

Coffee and Teas were lovely, side salad and scones perfect. However the dry bread used for the sandwiches let them down.

Just had an amazing Blackberry & Bramley Apple Crumble Crepe, asked for extra custard and not a problem, thank you Dale and staff for an enjoyable lunch. We come every time we visit the Lakes and never had a bad meal. Hubby said the hot chocolate is to die for! Had to wait for a table due to Covid but well worth the wait. Thank you guys 😊 😋😋😋

Lovely little deli cafe, menu is really lovely we only had drinks but the food looked and smelt amazing. Staff were friendly and it’s also dog friendly which is lovely. The decor is so fresh and it’s a nice atmosphere we stayed here longer than usual at a cafe, good people watching spot in Ambleside. Highly recommend the festive toffee nut latte.

Gluten free options available. We ordered two Buckwheat Crepes which were absolutely delicious and the fillings were quite original (homemade coconut rice pudding a dream!) This cafe is in a beautiful setting with a lovely back story to the name, appropriate for Grasmere. We were served quickly. Decor is fresh, clean and modern, jugs of tap water available if you need it, and crockery unchipped and unstained. A winner.Toilets also well kept and clean with lovely local toiletries if that's what you're looking for in a cafe.
