Farmhouse Kitchen in South Lakeland

popped in here for lunch after looking at the best-rated places in Kendal and weren't disappointed at all. we ended up cutting the burgers in half and sharing them because we couldn't make a decision. absolutely gorgeous, they were. same with the chips. oh and my coffee was ace and my wife's smoothie was ace...everything was, basically...strongly recommended!

We had a baked potato with tuna and cheese, chicken schnitzel burger and halloumi fries with an oreo shake. All of which were delicious. The decor is really inviting and the staff are friendly. The wait for the food was a bit long, but worth it.

Absolutely amazing! Really really tasty. Definitely worth the money, and it's a good price too. The hollandaise sauce is spot on, rosti was lush, quality salmon. With a pot of tea, twas a brilliant start to my day!

Had lunch here on Saturday and came back Sunday for breakfast.Food was just so good and all fresh ingredients. A large selection to choose from the extensive menu.Staff friendly and engage well with the customers.Definitely pop in if you get chance!

If we can get parked, then Farmhouse Kitchen is our treat on any visit to Kendal.There is a good selection of meals and snacks, served in a quirky setting with quirky lighting.

Dog friendly, good atmosphere, friendly service. The best black pudding I've had for years, great breakfast. Knocked one star off for chipped enamel dish OH had. Didn't notice until he'd started eating.

In when it opened on a freezing morning in Kendal, I was greeted by a friendly young man and a warm, welcoming interior.My veggie breakfast was lovely, fresh and hot but be warned, the veggie sausage is very 'meaty'!I'll certainly visit again.

This is the best cafe we've visited. The food is delicious and fresh and the service is outstanding. The cafe allow dogs to which is a bonus. Looking forward to returning and working our way through the menu. We have no suggestions on how you can improve so keep up the great work.

Pumpkin soup was delicious, rest of the food was okay. Good place to pop in for a hot drink. Warm and cosy cafe- absolutely loving it. Maybe lady behind the counter could be a bit nicer.

Got a table pretty much straight away. Portions were a decent size & value for money. Catered for vegans and those with allergens well. Only downside was that there didn't appear to be a vegan spread for the toast but the soya chai latte was delicious! Check these guys out. We went twice!
