Fellini's in South Lakeland

Great service, ambience and range of dishes available (all vegetarian/ vegan). Food came promptly and the portions were a decent size. The nut roast en croute was very flavoursome, especially the jus; it tasted like a vegan Sunday roast. The cannelloni was a bit bland - the couscous could have more flavour- and have more cannelloni pieces. The desserts were all excellent, especially the creme brûlée.

Food was absolutely delicious - the best place we've eaten so far! And the service too was exceptional, food comes at the right time and wine came straight away which is always a bonus. Definitely recommend for couples looking for an intimate evening

Amazing experience! The food was so tasty and the flavours amazing! The wait staff were very attentive, polite and knowledgeable (about wine's etc). Can only recommend! An incredible vegetarian restaurant!

Gorgeously presented food, really flavoursome, great choice of wine, staff were helpful but some avoided eye contact so we had to wait a while for extra drinks etc. Overall a lovely evening

Visited Fellinis on the last night of a three day trip to Ambleside on the meal deal package as we were staying at Ambleside Manor (under the same ownership). The place was packed so it had a buzzing atmosphere and tables were spaced really well and we sat on a table for four so had plenty room.The menu changes regularly and has plenty vegan options, so even if you are a regular visitor you do not get bored of the menu. We ordered apple & artichoke salad and slow roast aubergine & sun blush tomatoes with green tahini sauce and the presentation was top notch. The starters were perfect, we could not fault a thing and were a delight to eat.Mains were butternut squash & quinoa stuffed mushrooms, with vegan cheese, crispy kale & celeriac puree and Moroccan spiced filo parcels with romesco sauce. Once more scrumptious dishes, beautifully cooked and presented, as were desserts of roast pineapple, rum & maple reduction with elderflower sorbet.Service was great even though it was busy and the place itself is a wonderful place to dine.Revisited for dinner in January 2022, a present off my brother in law & his wife. The food was just as delicious, full of flavour and great presentation.I have eaten out in many vegetarian restaurants all over the world, including fine dining and Fellinis is my all time favourite. I love Fellinis and every time we visit Ambleside, there is no way we would not visit.Highly recommended.

All I can say is.....What a wonderful place to have a Birthday Dinner.As we say in Italian.....Grazie, Grazie, Grazie...!!Fantastico....!!

I have had the best vegan/vegetarian non-Indian meal at this restaurant. You will not miss meat when eating a meal here because they make VE food taste and look so great. This place is absolutely fantastic - right from the service, to decor, ambiance and the quality of food. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny. Also, you may need to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

We booked the Movie and Dinner package a few days in advance as we were arriving in Windermere for a birthday celebration.The food at Fellinis was exceptional.We had the Soufflé and a salad for starters and the risotto and filo parcels for main course plus a side salad.Everything was amazing and if we were staying more nights we would go back there again.

Amazing food. Loved every single minute. Staff very professional and polite. Yummy. Very clean and tidy restaurant. Best thing is that it's vegetarian.
