Excellent in all respects - fantastic food, good menu, friendly staff. Can't fault this wonderful chip shop - they're the best!

The best fish and chips in Kendal without doubt.Large portions hot and delicious.Served by a pleasant young staff.This would definitely earn 5 stars but for the fact there is no.hot water in the toiletsThe water heater on the wall has been broken for a year that I know of and possibly longerThe toilet area in general would benefit from a deep clean to rid it of unpleasant smells.It grieves me to have to put negatives in.this report, but they need to be addressed.This is meant as genuine feedback and not criticism and I hope it results in action

We initially ordered takeaway but changed our minds before we left (partly because weather was changing). Staff happy to accommodate us and brought order to table. Tasty food!

Usually the best Fish & Chips in Kendal. But as a few recent reviews inconsistency is creeping in. We noiw know when to avoid depending on who is in charge of the fryers. Sometimes some of the staff undercook or possibly usee a temp a notch too low.

Chips and curry sauce were very nice.

Great fish & chips. Service is good when you consider how busy it can get at popular times. They have a sit down area if you want to eat in and they offer a pensioners deal. Overall a great place if a chippy is what you are looking for.

What a bloody great chippy!! The chips were cooked to perfection, portion sizes just right and the fish was to die for. They have a really good handheld beeper system so you know when your order is ready and it worked very well during the best time I was there. Dry reasonably priced and excellent customer service. I haven’t tried other chipped in Kendal but on the strength of this I don’t think I need to 😀

Really great little chippy!We were visiting Kendal for the evening and it's lovely!The chippy itself has everything you'd want with great friendly staff, a seating area if you wish to sit in, great menu and all the food is cooked to order so not only is it fresh it's delicious!Just look for the big queue of locals aswell as tourists, great little place!

Great fish and chips, pensioners portion was more then enough for me. The scampi breading was too thick tho. Overall it was good :) pleasant service too!
