Arrived after storm Arwen in the evening. We had originally booked another hotel but after a bad journey to get to ulverston with trees and powerlines down we found our hotel was closed as they had no power. So we went into ulverston for the Christmas market only to find it was just closing. We rang many places for a bed but they were all either full or closed. We rather felt like Mary and Joseph! So very cold and Fed up we tried one last place. The fisherman's. Yes they had a room. We got a lovely welcome and were given a very nice room. Had a couple ofvdrinks in the bar and retired to our lovely big warm bed. Getting up in the morning we discovered we also had a great sea view. Finished off with a great breakfast. All for a very reasonable price. Thanks so much

We went for a family lunch yesterday. Everything was fantastic!!! The food was sublime and highly recommended. I'm very happy with the accessible service I received too. Top marks for everyone 👍🏻👍🏻

Went for Sunday dinner, it was a lovely evening and we sat outside in the garden. Food really good as was the service, pleasant and helpful staff.

Perfect setting for families. Lovely play park just opposite. Food good but quite pricey. I'd like to see more on offer for children on the menu as the 3 options weren't to my children's taste. They opted for starters instead. Friendly staff but they all need to be in a smart uniform. Own scruffy clothes and trainers Don't give the right impression. The extended seating area looks lovely and we would definitely come back.
