Folk Cafe in South Lakeland

We came by for breakfast with our dog - and really enjoyed our visit! We sat outside (but believe that dogs are allowed inside too) and had the waffles and coffee. The waffles were pretty delicious - and well priced. The coffee was decent too. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Nice gaff. We had a lovely coffee and were extremely disappointed that we couldn't partake of one of the food items. There was an excellent choice. We were haven't an afternoon tea 2 hours later.

Food full of flavour served by really nice people. Worth coming away from the main road to eat here. Spices just right.

Lovely place to visit on a back street of Bo’ness Windermere, with a lovely couple who run it together, very friendly and welcoming.Bringing a nice street food vibe which was all banging, get the cauliflower wings and the bao buns, with some lovely craft beers to choose from! It you want something different from your little pubs get in there!

A very friendly atmosphere and and cute ambiance! The food was really really good and inexpensive especially for the area and the coffee was absolutely amazing. They have alternative milks which is pretty ideal and and outdoors seating area

My husband and I visited this cafe yesterday 8/4/2023 We were hungry and thirsty but found nothing on the menu to even tempt us to eat. We were looking for a brunch type meal or just a scone as we were in the lakes. Nothing of that type was on offer so we had a coffee. Mine was a latte. This was just warm and the taste was so bitter I found myself unable to drink it. My husband who is a coffee drinker had a black coffee fr wich he had 2 sips and left it. His was so bitter too and worse than mine as he had no milk to even take the edge off it. I forced a bit more of mine down as the extortionate price of £3.20 each made me feel I had to try but the bittoof it coated my mouth for hours and was not eased until we found a meal later. I would reccomend everyone with any discernible taste avoid this place like the plague as the menu is not varied and the prices are out of this world for what you receive. My husband did complain but this fell on deaf ears and customer service was practically none existent

Me and the wife love a find like this 😍 amazing food and coffee! But for us it is all about the people and everyone at Folk was so lovely and welcoming!If you’re knocking about Bowness then this place is a must!!

Lovely little spot! Great selection of drink and super friendly service! Dog friendly too 😍 and they really know their products. Highly recommend!

A lovely tucked away cafe near the bustle of Bowness. We had a lovely lunch with an amazing burger and chicken salad. Chips were wonderful. Service was super. Good covid precautions
