We came for breakfast with our little Frenchie. It was absolutely lovely. We ordered 1 full English and 1 vegan breakfast. The full English was AMAZING and we couldn’t fault it. The vegan wasn’t quite as tasty, sausages and tofu was squishy and undercooked. However this place gave amazing options for everyone. The staff were doting friendly and polite and checked everything was okay a number of times. They were very polite with the dog too. We will definitely return.

Great food and very generous portions. The mango, pear and mint smoothie was absolutely delicious. Will visit again next time I'm in Grasmere

It is a nice little place in Grasmere. I like that you can sit inside or in nice weather outside. I drunk hot chocolate with mint was really pleasant. We ate some cake too, was tasty. Serving was immaculate as always. Same nice, kind staff.

Really lovely cafe that we stumbled upon on our trip to Grasmere last week. The sandwiches were so fresh and the soup was lovely and both were very generous servings so brilliant value for money. The coffee was also great and piping hot which I struggled to find! The owner also gave an amazing recommendation for dinner that evening and we went back to thank him the next day before we left but we were unfortunately a bit too early.

Beautiful little spot in the middle of Grasmere. Great coffee and even greater homemade soup. Service was excellent, and the two young lads that served us couldn't have been nicer. Can't recommend enough.

Been coming to Greens in Grasmere for years. Favourite cafe in the entire lake district. Family run so the service is always good. Not the cheapest but certainly the best quality food and drink. You certainly get what you pay for, which is decent homecooked food made with quality ingredients. Nice atmosphere. Be lucky to get a table inside on a busy day. Dog friendly dining area outside. Homemade cakes are lovely and their coffee is excellent. Best I've tasted in the area

Fabulous.... very organized with regard to sitting and order taking. The food was so fresh and delicious and attention to detail ie my side salad had a dressing that was very tasty. My husband had the homemade Damson chutney again delicious. Would highly reccomend.

Surprisingly quiet but probably due to the rain and wind keeping people away from the lakes. We had just come down from the snowline and had the best Leek & Potato soup ever (we were really cold and wet!) Very friendly staff in there and quick service, food was awesome and my wife enjoyed a marshmallow hot chocolate!

Rarebit with Attitude-it tasted as good as it looked, maybe even better! It was great to share because we didn't want to spoil our evening meal. Washed down with a Lime and soda and a Eel River IPA. Lovely outside seating area for people watching.

"Everyone can eat vegan food, so that's out starting point". What a brilliant ethos from this fantastic, friendly-to-all-diets cafe in lovely Grasmere. We stopped in twice, during our visit, to make sure we both enjoyed the dishes we were torn between on our first lunch. The chilli-non-carne was good - the rarebit spectacular.
