It's Greggs so you know you can rely on them for a coffee and a quick bite. However the staff at this one seemed to be a bit unorganised, and ended up getting my wife's order wrong. We'd waiting so long for our food that she didn't bother going back to complain.

Solid breakfast on the go before a morning hike!

Says it’s open Sunday but it is not, sad times

Well other Windermere businesses are missing a trick. Only place which is open at 07:30 for a brew on a Sunday. So a little cue but staff were really quick and friendly (jI was just passing on my way to the fells).

Always good to start your hill walking day with a bacon roll and coffee from Greggs. Smiling staff, good coffee and a tasty roll in the sunshine of Windermere. Great start to a weekend.

Popped in with my husband and daughter for a quick snack on the move. The woman serving took my order for a vegan sausage roll and a tea, and orders from my other family members. Having passed me a tea, she took payment and dealt with their snacks, passed them to them and left me standing. A long socially distant queue had now formed and I was left struggling to make myself heard (masks being worn) whilst she served another customer. Upon realising she had forgotton my food she grabbed the sausage roll - with her bare hand - put it in a paper bag and shoved it at me. No offer to warm it, no proper apology. Needless to say during a pandemic when hygiene is foremost, it went in the bin. Couldn't be bothered to remonstrate with her as the queue was long and I was the least of her concerns.

Greggs is always reliable. Good fresh food and excellent service. They were very strict on the Covid recommendations which is perfect these days.

I braved the lakes elements of wind and rain to forage breakfast for the family. As a modern Hunter gatherer I found pain au chocolate for the children, chocolate doughnuts for later in the day. I found croissants for The Mrs and a bacon and sausage bun for me with an americano coffee.Lovely service and value products as always.

I am a Google reviewer and I travel around the UK to find good hotels and restaurants. I used to be a head chef at a leading chain of restaurants in the UK so I know what I am talking about. and give them honest reviews and here are my findings. The food is OK it comes in frozen and they cook them when they need them this is good for the environment. But sometimes this particular store has stale cakes and you can tell they are about a week oldThey did fix the issues for me but it's still not the point for a paying customer

After once this week the same staff member gave us two lattes.1.vanilla shot2.caramel shotStated my colleague is allergic to vanilla and forgot again which was which for second time this week. The has the audacity to say just guess, and the fact you wait 20-30 minutes to get served is a joke.Wasn’t until three of four customers agreed with me that they shouldn’t take a chance and make a fresh one. Then there attitude towards me was a disgrace! This place needs a serious review into their staff and sending on a course of basic health and hygiene.
