Harry's Cafe Bar in South Lakeland

Great place, great staff, great food and wonderful items for sale within its premises. We love coffee and cake outside in all weather's due to its cathartic and pleasing views.

Absolutely fabulous Sunday lunch. Rare breed sensational pink beef with wonderful selection of seasonal veg worthy of the word. Proper jus. Forget your local pub! This is a cut above is gorgeous surround with ambience.

What a lovely place for breakfast and shopping! They make their own beans and they were a nice change from the usual Heinz beans. Good portion size. Delicious coffee! And very impressive antique shop. Well worth a visit!

Harrys cafe , is situated in yew tree barn. They serve good food and drinks , and well worth the visit , with the Antiques and architectural salvage an interesting walk round.

Called into Harry's cafe for coffee and cake. Great staff, coffee and choices of cake. We'll be back for more as the food menu looked really nice and just a little bit different to other cafes around

I have been a regular to Harry's cafe and have always enjoyed my visits there. When I heard it was being refurbished I was keen to see what has been done. The interior is very much improved.Very unfortunately the menu etc has been changed and not for the better. I was with 3 friends and we all agreed it isn't as good.Firstly there were no sandwiches on the menu and little choice for vegetarians or those with dietary requirements. Furthermore I have always enjoyed having a cafetiere as its fresh coffee every time you can adjust the strength feel its value for money and tastes better. I said how disappointed we were that they no longer do cafetieres. We are not a fan of machine coffee. The lady I spoke to regarding the disappointing changes was quite off handed and instead of saying she would pass the feedback on, she was just abrupt and we feel the 4 of us don't want to return.

Brilliant place 👌has resturant and loads of great antiques and quirky finds! New or old. From soaps to bubble bath, laterns. Tables pics baths sinks.. You name it!! It's in there 😊

Fantastic selection of local products and café on the ground floor.Also the top floor is filled with beautiful antiques and art.A great way to while away a few rainy hours.

This is a comment on Harry's Cafe at Yew Tree Barn.Well reviewed and sounded attractive. Unfortunately, our experience on a January lunchtime was disappointing.The menu was enticing, but rather expensive. I paid £8 for a toastie. Service was grindingly slow, even in the first few minutes of lunch service. When it finally arrived, the food was OK, but not of a quality to merit either the price or the rave reviews. Finally, my slice of cake was dry to the point of being stale.Frankly, I shall not be in any hurry to return.

Fantastic place with some amazing and quirky items. Well worth a visit. One of my favourite places. Cafe serves wonderful homemade food and cakes.
