Unreal food! Was going to take a photo of my main but it looked that good that I dove straight in. We went on a Sunday so there were a couple of things off the menu. Had Hake and sticky toffee pudding. Hats off to the chef and also the front of house staff were lovely! Would love to go back again and again!

Absolutely Amazing! This place is wonderful! Atmosphere is chill and cool, the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about what is comes to allergies and recommendations, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. The food is absolutely amazing! Everything we had melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in a long time. If your thinking about visiting Windermere please visit this little restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

Hooked is absolutely stunning. The food, the ambience, the service and the restaurant entirely.Every essence of the food, from the complimenting sauce to the wonderful fish and creamy mash; and finished with a fresh and fruity dessert.Importantly to us, the staff were very welcoming, warming and took the time to talk to us, explain the menu and have a general conversation. We visit Windemere yearly and Hooked will be on our list for dining every time.

What an amazing restaurant.......My girlfriend booked here for a weekend away as I love fish restaurant. The place is amazing and the food is amazing too. Definitely will be coming back here when I'm next in Windermere. We have oysters, I had squid ink ravioli and a monkfish for main. Is was perfectly cooked and the service was impressive too.Take a look at my photos. Great place. Thankyou for making my dinning experience amazing.

Lovely meal. Salmon fishcake , Chowder and Ravioli with squid ink prawns and baby squid,Sea Bass was excellent as was the mussels. Service fab. Bread basket was a bit on the mean side, half a pitta bread a broken up popadom and 3 skinny bread sticks.

Fresh and hearty Italian-style seafood dishes served in a casual, yet semi-sophisticated dining space. Service was prompt, friendly staff, always smiling. We ordered the calamari and bread selection for starters. Calamari was delicious; interesting flavours with the giant cous cous soaked in apricot sauce. Bread selection wasn’t great as it was mostly bread sticks and crisped bread, lack of focaccia (I suggest skipping this and going for one of the seafood starters instead). Mains arrived swiftly and were both outstanding. I had the Hake, which was cooked to perfection. My partner had the Squid-ink Ravioli which was to die for! A unique flair of flavours which complimented the overall theme of the restaurant.Definitely a place for a fancy but not too fancy date. I recommend if you’re in the area and want something a little more prestigious. Book ahead as there isn’t much seating, people get turned away at the door

I ordered the mussels to share for starters, hake with lobster bisque for mains, and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The food was STELLAR!!!!! I would have ordered bread to soak up the glorious mussel sauce if I had the tummy space. The mash from the main was SO creamy. The lobster bisque is such a great sauce with hake. The dessert was absolutely divine. I didn't realise sticky toffee pudding could taste any better but Hooked changed my mind. Overall a great experience.

Visited this restaurant for my 30th Birthday and it did not disappoint. I would recommend booking in advance as you may struggle to get a table if you walk in on the day.For starters, I had the scallops and my partner had the squid ink ravioli. The scallops were presented beautifully, but I felt they were very slightly overcooked. If you ate each part of the starter on its own, it would have tasted quite bland. However, this dish is clearly meant to have each element eaten together, and the flavours really compliment each other, the sweetness of the pea shoot with the saltiness of the bacon was really lovely. For the mains, as it was my birthday, we thought we would treat ourselves to the lobster. The waitress seemed quite surprised that we were both ordering the most expensive thing on the menu. The lobster was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. For dessert, I had the raspberry cheesecake which was delicious and not too heavy. It was more of a mousse texture than a cheesecake. The staff were really friendly and attentive, we never felt that we were forgotten about. The only niggle I had was that other tables were asked if they wanted water for the table, we however, did not get the same curtesy . Saying that, by the time the food had started to come out, I forgot to ask for some. This is a lovely little restaurant which is really good value for money for the quality of food you receive. If you are ever in the area, I would definitely recommend.

Came here last week and had a very enjoyable meal. Good seafood and good service at a reasonable price. While the starters and mains were excellent (I liked the clams and the ravioli in particular) the only minor letdown was the dessert. The tart pastry was soft but the selection of ice creams and sorbet was great.
