Hyltons in South Lakeland

The mussels sauce was nice, mussels were of varying sizes but they were all so gritty. SO GRITTY. The stew dishes were so salty as well even if the underlying flavors were alright.. could be so much better with a little more finesse

This restaurant doesn't take bookings, first come first served, so it maybe you have to wait to get a seat. We did and it was good, I went with the potato skins with garlic dip and one of their own burgers, good tasty meat well presented and prepared, filling and enjoyed every mouthful, worth the money.

Dropped in whilst in town for a spot of lunch. We where the only customers in there. Service was good. Food was OK. Ordered the soup but was given the wrong flavour, so ordered sandwiches and side of chips. Again ok. Nothing special. 3 options of filling, on sandwiches and jacket potato. So not much variety

Shockingly good food, friendly staff. And as a bonus they were hungarians, just like us.

A superb end of year meal with some close mates we spent a week round Scotland and ended up here to finish off the week class place to go that's for sure

Really enjoyed the food. Was really very tasty. Service was fast. And the servers friendly and helpful. Not many veggie options, in fact if your veggie or vegan, it’s a bit poor.

We were very well looked after by the friendly staff. The food was good. Great place!
