Great food and service. I had the chicken penang which was amazing really nice flavours with a touch of spice.

Not a great experience here, food was okay but the service wasn't great, staff weren't really very cartering or clear. We were also told on the phone pre booking we would each need to pay £2 extra per person for a larger party which was completely fine, however when paying the bill we were suddenly not allowed to use our cards to pay this extra charge which was never stated to us. We were then told members of the party would have to leave and go to a cash machine to get the cash and bring it back, this felt super unprofessional and they were quite rude to all of us.

Beautiful food and plenty of it. Helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

My Husband and I stopped here for our dinner tonight and loved every single dish! The chef managed to cater to our requirements of being vegetarian (without any seafood of fish sauce) and even a nut allergy. All food arrived quickly, piping hot and delicious.The manager was welcoming and lovely to speak to. We felt taken care of and cannot wait to visit again. Thank you

Great service. Gave us a heads up that service would be slow but is turned up quicker than most. Food was nice - Had the satay tofu and sizzling chicken. Would definitely recommend.

I would not recommend this restaurant and will never spend another penny in there. To begin with, we (5 of us) were reluctantly told of a one and a half hour wait for our takeaway which turned into 2 hours. The food was eventually given to us, cold, although did taste very nice to begin with. However, I found my chicken satay was completely raw. As a result of this it was taken back to the restaurant to ask for a reason as to why this was. Unbelievably the response that was given was “would you like some prawn crackers and a drink?”, eventually the individual provided us with a refund of £4.50 as this was the price of the chicken satay. So to summarise I have come away from this restaurant £70 down the drain and potential food poisoning for the next week.

We were really looking forward to the start of our holiday by having a Thai meal. What a disappointment. The wait for any kind of service was long, although we only ordered four dishes and rice, the order was incorrect, twice! Waited ages for drinks, cutlery and finally to pay. The food was quite tasty, though I love Thai food and have definitely tasted better. Nice wine, though, and the young lady who brought our cutlery and cleared our table was lovely.

What a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and full of flavour. The chef certainly knows how to add a full flavour to his dishes.The staff here are very caring and ensure that you are getting excellent service and brilliant execution.There were a few dishes we were not sure on, but the staff made sure we knew what we were getting ahead of time allowing us to make that most important of decisions; will I like it? The answer in all cases was, omnomnomnom.Thanks team for some great food and an excellent experience.

Visited for dinner yesterday and didn't enjoy it. First the goods, the food seemed like authentic Thai, the people were nice and authentic and the place looks nice. The bads was that we had to wait 90mins for our food. They were fulfilling all take away orders and don't serve the customers dining in which is infuriating. I'd give a negative rating if that was allowed so not recommending for dining in.

Amazing food, such a friendly bunch of staff so , we made to the restaurant around 8:40 ISH and we were around 8 pupil, the staff have put. Table for us with in 10 mins or so, they made sure we were comfortable, the service was exceptional, food was amazingly good, tasty and each dishes plate presentation is also exceptional, the desert was out of the world has to order 2wice. If you are staying in Kendal or visiting Kendal so visit Jintana Thai . We had a pleasant experience thank you Jintana
