Perfect location - easy walking distance to the lake and excellent restaurants and shops of Bowness. The Lakes Hotel is modern, clean and spacious - it's exactly as advertised! Every member of staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Would give this place a higher rating if I could. A wonderful experience from start to finish, with friendly staff who just want to help you. The room with hot tub was cozy, clean and just amazing (loved the celebration package!) but the hotel amenities such as the pool, restaurant and bar were outstanding too. The breakfast buffet had so many options and did not disappoint. Lake Windermere is just a short walk away, and would recommend hiring bikes to fully enjoy the adventure. Thanks for helping to make my partner's birthday celebration the best!

The Tree Top Suite was a perfect. Massive floating bed, with a cosy sofa and TV a level above, and a private hot tub! What more could you want??... Spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were excellent. Has it's own "pub" spa side, and close enough to town to walk for essentials... But you'll not want to leave that room!Only thing I didn't expect, was to have to pay for parking on site. £12. So be mindful of that... And there's a £10 service charge per tray for room service... For the price you're paying on the suite, and spa treatment we bought as well you'd think these standard things would be as standard, without charge.

What an amazing stay we had here! We arrived to a very warm welcome. We were shown around the hotel by a lovely lady who got us a nice glass of fizz each on arrival on our look around the bar. We were shown to our room and got help with our bags. The room had amazing views and was just stunning in every way! The staff were all incredibly helpful and nothing was to much work or hassle for us. The Jacuzzi in our room was clean and clear. Thanks for an amazing time!

Wife and I treated each other to a night at hotel with spa treatment and afternoon in spa. Hotel is beautiful and staff were amazing, very helpful. The massage was extremely relaxing. Spa was very nice, had everything you’d expect or need, a bar, comfy seating, lovely pool, sauna, steam room, cold plunge pool and 2 hot tubs. We both felt refreshed and relaxed after we left to check in and get to our room.We had one of the treetop rooms with hot tub, absolutely beautiful, bed was huge and very comfortable slept like a log. Balcony hot tub was great, bathroom was just as you’d expect and even had a little upstairs part with corner sofa and smart tv where we chilled later on. Everything was very clean and tidy.We booked meal in restaurant and wow the food was amazing, I had pigeon for starter wife had soup, both of us were very impressed, tasted great and presentation was top notch. For mains I had the poussin and wife had venison, again tasted amazing. I had apple tart for dessert which was very sweet but just what I needed to clear the palette. Waiting staff were very attentive too.Overall an amazing stay and both very happy, would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Amazing experience. Impeccable customer service and attention to detail. Very good and clean room that made us feel at home. The spa is very relaxing, although a bit small for the number of guests, it has different services as well.

We were greeted on the drive by the gate keeper, who welcomed us warmly. My wife and I had an apartment room in the Spa complex, which was beautifully furnished. The main part of the hotel was superb. We dined in the hotel on one of our nights. The service was exceptional, as was the food. The surroundings were spectacular. The view from the terrace towards the lake could not be bettered. It is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location.

Absolutely fantastic place. We stayed here for 1 night for my wife’s birthday. The spa is so well done and the service by the staff was so personal and friendly ! Even if we did have a query they immediately resolved ! Kudos to Mark on reception on the Thursday who really helped usThe apartment was just wow ! Thank you

Extremely overpriced at £240 a night and doesn't come across as a 5* hotel. Parking costs £12 a day and having anything sent to the room incurs an additional £10 charge! From 830am the room is very noisy, the door for our room was less than 1m to the lift and hence people were constantly banging in to the door. Whilst check out was supposed to be at 11am, we were woken up at 9am by maintenance. There's a sign next to the private hot tub saying they reserve the right to enter your room without permission if they feel you are causing a nusience, hardly an inviting atmosphere to create for the guests. Avoid.

Absolutely stunning hotel! We stayed here for two nights and I couldn't picture a better place to go. The room was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The facilities were great and the hot tub on our balcony was an amazing touch! On the first night, we visited the waterbird restaurant and it was stunning. The food was exquisite and the service was excellent.Such a beautiful weekend and felt so relaxed, all thanks to the wonderful staff. We hope to come back soon!
