I had accidentally booked this restaurant thinking that it was in london. I called them a day in advance to let them know of the error, the reservation team said they would try and sell that table, I checked online there was availability for the entire afternoon, so it's not like I kept someone else from getting a spot. They charged me £500 for not even eating there. Absolutely absurd. Would not recommend booking (7 day cancellation policy)

Unbelievable experience at an unbelievably high price. You pay for what you get. The finest dining experience money can buy but if you want to eat and get the wine pairing expect to pay £350+ per person.I'd go again but perhaps in a few years. Too extravagant for regular visit.

AMAZING! One of the best meals I've ever had. Definitely worth the 3 stars. Just every course was a taste delight. The signature wine pairing is as must, as is the cheese trolley and if you can the wine pairing for the cheese also. I would also recommend the soft drink pairing, some really interesting drinks and makes a nice change of drink if you have a designated driver! The theatre around the mint teas and coffees was also brilliant. Just the best food experience, unpretentious, amazing menu.

Just a fantastic experience from start to finish. The wine pairing choices were amazing and the level of service top class. As for the food - we will definitely be back and it surpassed anything we've enjoyed previously in terms of presentation and flavours. As others have said believe the hype - this is a location not to miss!

The food and food service were superb. I always order wine with dinner, so I asked to see the wine menu before our first course. I ordered a bottle of wine, and then found out from the table next to us that there was a wine pairing menu available. The sommelier didn’t inform me of this when I was looking at the wine menu. The sommelier showed me the sealed bottle of the wine I ordered, which I expected him to then open at the table. He didn’t, he took the bottle away, and then bought it back already opened. High end restaurants have been known in the past to show you a sealed bottle, then take it away and bring it back opened. What they’ve done is refilled an old bottle of the same type with cheaper wine to make more money. If I’m paying £90 for a bottle of wine, I want it opened at my table so I know I’m actually getting what I paid for. I had also booked a room at the hotel, the room they gave me was above the restaurant. At about 7am the next morning I was rudely awakened by the VERY loud sound of a gas truck refilling something for the restaurant. I would think a restaurant with the prestige of this one, could arrange for the gas truck to be there after 11am when everyone has checked out. If you do stay in the hotel, ask for a room in the main building where the reception is. And if you order wine, make sure it’s opened at your table!

A unique experience! Would recommend as a treat! My dietary preferences were also catered for without problem when mentioned on the day.

A hopefully "not" once in a lifetime experience. My personal thoughts of the whole experience was one of pure delight, and gratitude, I booked the stay and tasting menu, approximately 16 months ago, and as we all know lockdown had a stop / start effect on businesses, where they have had to adapt, in my case one for the better, as when booked, L'Enclume was 2* Michelin rated, when we finally managed to confirm a day L'Enclume won their third Michelin star, Also to top it off, it was L'Enclume's 20th anniversary. Well done Simon, Also to your brigade and staff that help to keep your standards as high as they are. thank you again, for making our 25th wedding anniversary as special as you did. X

Absolutely wonderful! The hype is real. We had the 8 course lunch taster with the wine flight. The Berkswell (?) Pudding was a firm favourite, and the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Obviously it isn't the cheapest place, but you get what you pay for (and more!)

Totally over top experience! And very very expensive. 15 course taster menu with wines to compliment each course. Not 5 star for me due to a couple of small problems. The presented duck and accompanying roasted garlic was not what we were served, also sommelier’s strong accent muffled by his face mask made understanding his comments difficult. OTT level of service from young apparently passionate about food staff. Each course was sublime yet seemed to be not quite as amazing as each course was served. Maybe this was due to the very high standard of the initial few courses. But there was a whiff of Scampi Fries about one mouthful. The first course just melted in my mouth. I had to close my eyes to savour it. An amazing experience that I will probably never be repeating. The glassware was something special. Wine glasses with such delicate stems and a water glass that has finger indents and which was flexible. It could be squeezed slightly. Locally sourced I was led to believe. The food and presentation were so good they could not be labelled pretentious. 3rdMichelin star just received, understandably.Start saving…

Incredible, excellent service and wonderful food; super impressed to be offered a non-alcoholic drink pairing with the meal - made a massive difference to a non-drinker who might otherwise miss out.
