Lake View Garden Bar in South Lakeland

Lovely Place overlooking Lake Windermere where you can sit in the sun, enjoy a drink or a spot of lunch. Very tasty food and great cocktails.

Really loved it here, Views across the lake were great, massive selection of drinks and cocktails. Food looked really good, we only had truffle fries, but they were great. If you are visiting Lake windermere then definitely drop in here.

Very nice place to have a drink or to eat something. Fairly pricy but I guess you pay for the view too.

The fish was amazing, like one of the best I have ever had, why not 5 stars, would not open side gate to avoid steep steps with pushchair, no offer of help, no table service, staff had attitudes.

Nice views and staff. Didn't realize we sat in a room without service. But we ordered and received food. Really enjoyed the roasts.

Very slow service. The place wasn’t full but still waited over an hour for food. This could be forgiven with an apology and a smile but when you’re met with attitude by bar staff for even daring to ask if they’ve forgotten you it sours the whole experience. Maybe invest in some customer service training? Also, daughter pizza was garden vegetable with no cheese. Came with just tomato sauce on. Weird. Got refund on child’s pizza so manager understands customer service.

Great location and friendly staff. Good selection of drinks. Food was basic but enjoyable. A bit pricey but considering the location and the view it was worth it.

Lovely food, great choice to choose from, some really good beers too - reccomend the local ales! The app to order worked well once we joined their wifi. Food came out quick even though it was busy. Downside was they needed a bit more choice for kids menu and toilets really needed cleaning!!

It's a nice place with excellent view. They have variety of drinks which is perfect if you want to try something new. The service is quiet fast. However, it's really crowded and this can cause mix-up in orders. The Stella Artois Cider is fantastic I definitely recommend it. The toffee pudding was good but too sweet so choose carefully.
