Delicious cheese scone! Soggy woodland walk among the snowdrops. Staff were great, we love it here.

Superb cafe and shop. The cafe has a good range of food and drink choices and a at good prices. There is even a viewing window where you can watch the cows being milked! The upstairs shop sells lovely gift items and down stairs is a lovely farm shop. Highly recommend a visit.

Nice little farm shop to come across and with a cafe too. Good choice of fresh produce and Artisan foods and crafty products. Cafe serves a good mug of coffee and cold drinks and ice cream. Also quick meals including Fish Finger sandwich and Rolls. Great place don't miss out it's a must go too.

What a gem! We only stopped to visit the farm shop, but we ended up staying almost 2 hours after doing the walking trail and watching the cows being milked. I also bought some of their raw milk from the vending machine (admittedly for novelty factor more than anything else). Not being one to drink milk unless its in my tea, I tried it with trepidation once we got home. Well, I was blown away, it tastes fantastic!! My kids had a great time, and we'll definitely visit again when we are next up in the lake district.

Lovely afternoon spent walking the woodland trails,( and getting lost!) with my dog. Lots of outdoor space to have something to eat or drink and also a cafe indoors. There is a shop which sells the typical lake district gifts and locally sourced produce, although I thought a little pricey. Will definitely go again to explore more of the woodland trails and grab a refreshment.

Stayed in our caravan here for a week. Facilities good, toilet block clean has all amenities needed and Kendal not far away from supermarkets and for traveling to places within the lakes etc. Only thing I can note is that when using and awning and awning carpet the stone parking has lots of loose big stones these could do with flattening down a bit. Other than that enjoyed our stay and will return again at some point in the future.

Such a pretty spot. The farm shop was expensive as these places usually are but the merchandise and products were good quality. There is a little cafe here that offers table service and you can order food via an app. You can also watch the cows being milked if you're there at the right time.Overall we enjoyed our visit and would recommend it to others who are in the vicinity and looking for somewhere to go for an hour or so.
