Mio Mondo Coffee shop in South Lakeland

It was a nice little restaurant, prices were about what I'd expect for it's location.Most of the staff were friendly and polite.It's very narrow inside, but there is outside seating undercover.There is only one toilet and it's not easily accessible if people are seated near it as we were, as it's also right behind the door to the kitchen/bar area.The full English breakfast was good, and the portion size was reasonable. For the waffles we were expecting freshly cooked, but these were reheated easy made ones which had gone soggy underneath from the heat. They had a nice flavour, and the bacon that went with it was tasty, not too salty, and crisp.I think if we were in the area again, we would visit and try some different dishes. The chips were really nice, hot and crisp.The latte was enormous, I was very impressed with it, the coffee was very nice.

Food was really tasty, just a bit too oily for us! The vegan options were great and there’s lots of choice.The coffee adds 50p for anything extra so ended up paying an extra £1.50 for soy decaff caramel, I don’t think it’s fair to add money on for things that are medical requirements and aren’t costing the place any extra.Would revisit though, food was tasty and staff polite. Also well priced

Nothing terrible, decent quality just expensive for what you get. Not the best breakfast I've had but not the worst. While in Bowness it's not a bad choice if they have a table free as the whole town is very busy

All day breakfast. What more do you need. Was cooked fresh to order. Lovely sausages. Good selection of cakes for after if you have room. Tea served in proper little tea pots. Prices not too bad considering you're in the lakes.

We got a full English and it tasted good. The staff was friendly at first. Problem is we were rushed to get out - the waitress literally said “Guys we need this table” - no thank you or good bye whatsoever.

Really good lunch here. Staff really friendly, made us up a table outside with blankets but as soon as a table was ready inside they set us up again. Lovely coffee, lovely food, especially the waffles and bacon and the skin on fries. They allow dogs inside too 🐕

Called in for lunch as I was visiting the area with work. My wife was with me so nice little treat . Not a huge place but the food was lovely and the service was quick and friendly. Reasonable price for what we had. My wife particularly liked the Cajun chicken.

Great place for a lunchtime bite! Super welcoming service and very reasonable prices. Cheese and ham toasties plus a side of large chips to share. Great staff and will defo be calling in again. Thanks you!

Best waffle I’ve had in years! Very nice millionaire shortbread but one is enough for two. All the food looked lovely! Great service. There is limited seating inside but outside if the weather is nice.
