Best Indian restaurant in Kendal, never fails to deliver.

Great food, excellent service, average prices, will certainly be back.

Daal was good Chapati was no where near to fresh made one. it could have been lot better if the chef makes the chapati from fresh dough

Nice food but staff not very friendly no kids menu when I asked for it was told bluntly by bar staff. we arrived 10 minutes early i asked if we could wait in foyer which they weren't keen on but seemed to let a large group later just stand there with no problem....felt very rushed when ordering and I had to ask can we start with a drink? The younger waiter who served our food was very nice pity the older staff don't follow this.

Despite being full to the rafters, the team managed to seat me and my friend without a reservation. They were exceedingly busy that night but patient and polite throughout. Service was quick and the food was excellent.

(sorry no photos, I was too eager tucking into dee-licious food! 🤤)I had a vegetable Pathia and Garlic naan, plus a Vegetable Samosa... and the samosa was good, but the Pathia was a taste sensation!My wife enjoyed a vegetable Bhuna & mushroom rice (which I tried, the rice was superb!) She also had a tarka dahl and loved it all.We'd eaten at a different Asian retaurant last night in Kendal and been unimpressed, with both the flavours, and the bill wasn't exactly cheap.Tonight at the Mumbai we had one drink, but otherwise the same number of dishes between us -and the bill was £10 cheaper!We will definitely be eating here again the next time we're in Kendal, superb! 👌

Dinner with my family on 18 August whilst vacating in the area. Overall good service and edible food. The wine list is limited.

Visiting Kendal for the day and came across this restaurant. They were able to accomodate a table for 3 without booking but it was a sunday evening. The food was great no issues with that, portion sizes were big enough to fill you but not stuff which was also nice. The service was ok, a mixed bag but nothing majorly horrendous. The only negative was the price. Almost £20 each for a curry and pint is a bit steep. Over all a good meal though.

Great restaurant in kendal. Great customer service with a smile and the food was extremely good.

Great food, as tourist to Kendal didn't expected to get such a good Indian food.
