New Inn in South Lakeland

We really enjoyed our stay there. We got a great welcome and the room was lovely the bathroom was to die for. All this followed by an amazing dinner. Couldn't fault it. The cod was so fresh and tasty. My had the beef she couldn't manage it all so i helped out and it was very tender. Big thank you to everyone.

Called in one dark winters evening hoping to eat. We were invited to sit by the fire whilst a table was found for the 4 of us. Staff professional and friendly. Food was absolutely delicious. Beef was so soft. Felt like real treat. Will go again.

Great service. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. Great local ingredients used to good effect. Only word of caution check any online bookings with a phone call too.

Great venue very busy on the night we went, lovely decor and atmosphere will return for a dining experience next time.

Very nice and clean. Nice room well proportioned. Nice bathroom with the bath separate in the main bedroom. The evening meal was top notch and the chef really knows his stuff using locally sourced products where possible. My only gripe is the Continental breakfast. Not enough choice. Continental normally has hams, cheeses and fruit. Some more choice would have been nice.

Very nice and comfortable room. We were very well received and so was our dog. We highly recommend it!

What a lovely establishment. We booked it for a base whilst travelling around the lake district and what a great place we picked.Room 6 absolutely spotless great shower combination and hot water almost instantly which was very welcome after a day travelling around.We also used the sister hotel Longlands hotel for an excellent evening meal and when we are back down in the area its a definite place for a meal.Looking forward to another visit to both places very soon.

Had an excellent one night stay on our drive back from Scotland. Customer service was exceptional from booking through to checking out, would eagerly visit again for longer! The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with the most comfortable bed and spacious en suite. Our dog was provided with a bed and bowls, and was kept very happy with treats and attention from Nic and the team! Would happily recommend to anyone visiting the area, a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District!

Absolutely fabulous... best nights sleep I've had in years. Full eight hours ... shower amazing... Smart TV. Above all the Staff were lovely. Thankyou... I would highly recommend the New Inn. I give it 6 ☆☆☆☆☆☆ Stars.
