Newfield Inn in South Lakeland

Stopped mid way through a very long MTB ride. Great prawn sandwich and chips. Simple but very well done. Very friendly and helpful.

A fine pub to finish a walk in. Local ales, single malt and fresh food.

Dog friendly pub. Pints were banging. Staff very kind. Place was clean. Food available. Ordered light snacks, delicious. Not pricey either.

Friendly local close to Turner Hall campsite. Good grub. Top roasties & mighty fine gravy (cheers Dave👍) Good Guinness.

Friendly, clean and warm. Food was amazing, huge portions and served quickly and piping hot. Good selection of ales and spirits and the staff and locals made us feel welcome from the minute we stepped through the door.

Had a lovely meal (as always) the owner, staff and locals are always very friendly and welcoming at this traditional pub in one of the quieter valleys in the Lake District.

Happened across this Inn whilst working our way out from Cockley Beck and the Wrynose Pass. What a lovely place to stop. The scones were homemade and still warm and the lady who served us was friendly and funny. It was great to sit in the garden in the lunchtime sun and grab a snack with a pint of something refreshing. Will call in again when in the area, thank you.
