Freshly prepared and perfectly cooked fish and chips at very reasonable price, cant wait to go again!

Great food, fresh and hot. Friendly staff too.

Good food but VERY long wait time during busy periods. Cash only.

Fish and chips were luke warm as if they had been sitting around for considerable time. Wouldn’t use them again.

Disgraceful customer service from the woman who serves, she was rude, abrupt and patronising. Asked for plenty of vinegar and was told “yes but when I’m about to do it” which is odd as normally you would request this in advance to avoid error. Also there is a sign advising customers if they wanted Burgers or other items to order in advance. I asked the lady but was ignored. I didn’t get into an argument over this as this women clearly didn’t want to be at work so I will just use another chip shop. The biggest shame Is the food is nice but after such unwelcoming service I would rather avoid the place.

Only visited once and I won’t be going back again. If the queue is back to the junction near the petrol station forget it. You’ll be over waiting an hour just to put your order in. Then there is a 15 to 20 min wait for cooking time. Really needs someone to take orders outside so your food is cooked by the time you get to the door. Also they were rude to two customers that arrived at 730 and got the door at 830! and they had been in the queue for an hour and they had phoned a 70 quid order through. The food itself was average.

Great little fish and chip shop on the edge of the village ran by a friendly husband and wife. The portions are just right and the curry is sweet just the way I like it, 6.50 for fish and chips is also a great price for the lake district.

Brilliant. The chips were perfect, the fish batter a little salty for me but portion sizes were good. Excellent staff and a safe system. With queues out the shop you know it's going to be good.

Rained all day had fish n chips 6pm, the Wife had a burger n chips from their take away .She said they were welcoming and chattty .The fish tasted fresh and the batter perfect wife couldn't eat all her burger as it was so big so I had half but it was very tasty we thought.Oh and Rosie the dog enjoyed her sausage. So compliments
