Stopped here for breakfast. Food was good. Customer service was variable. Some staff were helpful, others made us feel like we were an inconvenience and in their way. Kindness costs nothing as they say.

The Cornish Bakery is probably the only bakery in the town that remains open after 16:00 and delivers fresh pastries, savory items, snacks, and hot drinks. I enjoyed the chocolate croissants and double expresso greatly!

Best cornish pasties outside Cornwall. These easily match Anne's Pasties at Lizard and I never thought I'd say that. I've often derided cornish bakery for having cafés in the Lake District but lately I've been using them and they serve great coffee and great snacks. The pasties are made properly with sliced veg and proper chunks of meat, and just the right amount of seasoning..... Perfect.

Warm service, delightful pasties and delicious coffee! We were visiting the lake district and popped in often during our stay to have their pasty and coffee to go on our walks. Love their vegan option of Spiced Cauliflower and Onion Bhaji! Their coconut milk latte is also delicious!

Excellent, easy spot to grab lunch. Lots of seating upstairs and they welcome dogs. Some of our pasties were warm and some had obviously been on a hot plate for a while. We would definitely pop in for lunch again.

A mixed experience. Over a few days we bought their sweet pastries and muffins. All were really very good. The Cornish pudding tray bake was delicious. On that basis we decided to get our lunch, and chose respectively a Bacon, cheese and leek pasty and a steak pasty. The latter was okay albeit stodgy. But the former was also stodgy and tasted bitter.

I popped in today for a wonderful pasty and coffee sheltering from the rain today. The staff are absolutely wonderful especially Diane the manager, she has such a wonderful attitude and smile for the business. I would highly recommend visiting the bakery! the Cornish Pasties are the die for!
