Delicious Sunday meal here and what great value: 2 courses for £18! The beef brisket roast was perfect and platings were beautiful. I’d highly recommend. Booking well in advance for normal dinner suggested but we managed to book Sunday lunch the day before fine.

Cosy place for having an exceptional meal, I highly recommend their wild mushroom risotto (tho I didn't photo it), it's rich but not overwhelming, I guess it's because the base sauce was made of spinach so it balanced its creamy taste. I had my bass fillet, it was really amazing as well. I didn't expect this bistro to be this good, but we indeed had a good time

Lovely cosy restaurant, all the tables were well spaced out so you weren't listening to other conversations. Food was tasty and well presented, and delivered by staff with a smile. Would definitely visit again if we were in the area. Thankyou Porto for the extra touches for my birthday!

The food was nice, but a bit too salty to my liking. However I felt that staff didn't know the menu well. We sat on the second floor and it wasn't a nice atmosphere. Tables are very close to each other, carpet flooring 🤔 and chairs looked like been bought from Dunelm, toilet room looking tired.Overall I felt like for this price there are better places.

Went here last night with my dad and the food was absolutely excellent and the service also, had the gravdlax to start which was brilliant and then the pheasant as a main which was exceptional. He had the fillet steak as a main which he said was cooked to perfection, I wish I lived closer if so I would come here all the time! The prices were also very reasonable!

Bigger than it looks, thanks to a generous upstairs. Nice people and good food from an imaginative menu. My wife had scallops as a starter and almond-crusted sea bream as a main. I opted for the twice-baked soufflé as a starter and the Moroccan Tagine as my main. All good.

Great experience here. The food was 5 out of 5. Different and contemporary food, the meat was tender and juicy, food presentation was worth what I paid for. The choice of sauce was unique yet tasty.Service 5 out of 5. Very attentive and professional servers I was early for my appointment but they accommodate us without much fuss.Atmosphere was nice and airy, they didn't try to squeeze you in so there is plenty of spaces around you which is nice.Online booking is a huge bonus.

Food was absolutely amazing. Went for a special birthday meal and it did not disappoint. Both me and my girlfriend were thrilled with the meal. The service was polite and unobtrusive and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. While the food wasn't cheap, It was far from overpriced and worth every penny.

The food in this charming restaurant is sublime. It’s amazing to experience fine dining food without ridiculous prices. The waitress recommended the sea bass which is excellent. I would also personally recommend the scallops to start and chocolate delice for dessert.I booked early for a birthday meal and requested the balcony table (there’s only one) and they were thankfully able to accommodate this. It seems that they only check your booking request when you arrive however, so if you do make a request like we did for a specific table you might have to wait if someone is already there. No problem for us as the previous customers had just asked for their bill when we arrived so timing was perfect. They also add some special touches to the experience if it’s a birthday, so it’s worth letting them know. I won’t spoil this for you!I can’t fault the food and service at all, but the reason I’ve not rated this place a five star is because they did take a while to take our orders and check on us between courses. I’m not sure if this is because our table was out of sight and therefore out of mind most of the time, or if they felt that we needed our space to enjoy the experience, I don’t know. Either way, we were there longer than we needed to be. If you’re the kind of person who goes out of their way to get attention from servers this won’t be an issue for you.Despite that, I’d still recommend visiting this place wholeheartedly. Thanks to the staff and chef for the excellent meal and going the extra mile for our special celebration.

Fabulous restaurant. It is deceptively big inside with additional seating areas outside and a choice from a lovely patio garden area with water features and a Julie balcony. Cocktails were delicious and highly recommend the Limencello one. Gorgeous food - particularly the fish dishes. Fabulous service and setting.
