Rastelli's Pizzeria in South Lakeland

Can’t speak highly enough of this place, it was absolutely amazing. The staff are so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The food is out of this world and I would 100% recommend to anyone, best food we have ever had.

Didn't book a table but were lucky to get a slot.....so thank you. We loved it here. Friendly. Good atmosphere. Great food. Good service. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We went here yesterday and we Can't talk about the pasta dishes but the garlic bread and pizza was worse than any other fast food delivery place. Pizza dough, tomato sauce and even the cheese tasted like it wasn't even made there. Any frozen pizza from the store tasted exactly the same, if not even better. Its really not worth the price. I only gave 2 stars because there's just 1 waitress that is actually really nice and she gave us a high chair for our baby. The waitress deserves so much better. You can see the other staff just standing around and doing nothing for more then 30 minutes, it just confirms my guess of the ingredients being bought premade. According to the other reviews with 5 stars is really unexplainable for us. Pasta looked on the other tables alright though.

Lovely food with amazing service. The two waitresses that served us couldn't have done more to help. They kept my daughter entertained and took the time to smile back at her (she is a very nosy two year old).I was sceptical when looking online at restaurants as the first reviews I saw of the restaurant rated it poor. But with a rating of 4.5 stars I took the chance. I am definitely glad that I did. Don't let any negative reviews put you off this place, it is well worth a visit.The food was to a high standard and very reasonably priced, I would happily go back.They cater very well for children, offering half portions on all pastas and a simple cheese and pasta with choice of topping for younger children. They have high chairs and have Fruit Shoots on the menu.They have a reduced price menu before 1800. It contains most of the pasta and pizza dishes for under £10. I would highly recommend the chicken liver starter as it was the best I have had in a while.Thanks to all the staff for giving us a wonderful experience and really making our evening. We will be back and will happily recommend to our friends.

Spent 4 days in Windermere and tried different takeaways, but most of them are not satisfying, this is the best I have had. Recommend carbonara, fillet steak starter, garlic prawn starter and sticky toffee pudding. Definitely will come back again : )

Lovely place to eat, the staff were very attentive and welcoming! The food was delicious, would definitely recommend.

Had to book 2 table on a Sunday night (6 +1 high chair and 4) as the automatic reply on the phone give you the opportunity to book for max 6 pp. As soon as arrived I explain the situation to the girl at the front house that immediately apologised saying that I should just wait after the automatic reply to speak with one of the guys and easily book a table for 11 (good to know for the next time). As we arrived the place was full but we been seated immediately, the staff was very attentive and friendly and we manage to order drinks and food soon. After receiving our starter the girl from the front house (shame on me I did not ask for her name) managed to sort out some more tables attached to ours and we had the opportunity to finish our meal together... what a great hospitable touch!!!Food was outstanding and the portions were very generous. The atmosphere was perfect with nice Italian music in background.. Cannot find nothing to complain about... we will definitely be back again.

Ten mins after opening and the whole place was full. We managed to find a table for two but it's better/safer to pre book. The atmosphere was lovely and cheerful, and the food was some of the best we've ever had. We were a bit surprised to find such a great place in this corner of the world. Worth every penny and would definitely go back for more of their authentic italian food.

We arrived late at our scheduled booking but the they provided us a table and has to stay for only 45 minutes. We were told we can only order pasta and pizza. We had to order immediately and eat as fast as we can. When we were ready to pay, they told us that we can stay as much time as we have since twelve people cancelled their reservation.We could have order more. We could have enjoyed the food and savour it longer but it was too late. The pasta Bolognese tasted great and the pizza Margherita was the best!!!
