Red Dragon Inn in South Lakeland

Stayed with a group of friends for a 2 night stay 18th and 19th March and was made welcome from stepping in to going home. Rooms lovely and clean and breakfast fab. Thank you charley, Sharon and all the staff for a great weekend

A superb place to stay, a very warm welcome from staff and Charlotte could not accommodate any more than they did for ourselves, any information we needed for our stay was gladly given with a lovely chat from Charlotte about the towns history.Our room was excellent with on suite Beth room, very very clean with a lovely touch of many teas, coffee, including hot chocolate with homemade shortbread a lovely touch.Delicious food for our evening meal followed in the morning by cereals, fruits, juices, coffee & a selection of freshly cooked breakfasts which is included in the price.Beautifully located on the Main Street within the quaint village.We will definitely be coming back, didn't want to leave ♥️

Eight of us had a meal here on Saturday and I must say it was a very good experience. Every single one of us enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. There is a great choice of beers behind the bar and Charley is always a great host.

Fabulous stay the room was beautiful, the staff were absolutely lovely so very helpful and polite. As a head chef myself i know qood quality cuisine and the way the ingredients were cooked was very good indeed also understand everything was cooked to perfection and with great value. I will highly recommend and will most certainly return again in the near future.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Staff were faultless and accommodated every small ask. Breakfasts really set you up for the day too. Would definitely stay here again

Nothing special to look at but wow what a lovely team of people working there. We booked a table for four people for starters, two had prawn cocktail, two had black pudding with bacon and peppercorn sauce, that was truly amazing! For mains, two had steak and two had steak pie. Too much to eat but excellent and they offer a 50% off between 5.30 and 6.30pm so amazing value for money too. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Hats off to the charming manager.

My family and I stayed here to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday in Feb 2022. The manager Charlie was fantastic and saw to all needs as and when. The rooms were very tastefully decorated in a neutral way and the bathroom was magnificent. Breakfast was made to order more or less and was cooked to perfection.I would definitely recommend staying at the Red Dragon Inn in Kirkby Lonsdale.

Friendlly and so welcoming. We stayed near to Christmas and it was so picture perfect! The staff are all so lovely and can’t do enough for you. Really hard working.Location wise it’s just so perfect. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and have everything you need.We brought our dog and we were made to feel at home which was lovely.Breakfast is superb and they have a great selection to suit you.We also ate in one evening and thoroughly enjoyed. It really is a place where you feel so relaxed.Look forward to returning very soon.

Well, what a lovely find in Kirby Lonsdale! Cosy and warm with friendly, attentive staff who made us feel most welcome! We had a great meal, cooked and presented to perfection.....this will definitely be one of our 'go to' places when we re in the area!

Lovely staff. Manageress was fantastic couldn't help enough. We stayed in deluxe room was nice but needs a comfy chair as only had one chair for 2 people . Breakfast was nice only issue they said it was Linda McCartney sausage and it wasn't it was a cheap veg sausage.
