Recent visit for afternoon tea & prosecco dec 2020. Lovely food, very attentive service. I would recommend a visit for an afternoon out. Thank you Rioja!!

Shocked by some of the negative comments in other reviews.Hubby and I have been twice recently and both times we have absolutely loved this place! The staff are really friendly and cannot do enough for you - nothing is too much trouble.The manager (I think his name is Ali) is one of the friendliest and most professional we have had the pleasure to meet, and his Pina Colada is the best I have ever had!We had a few courses of tapas in the bar the first time we went and it was stunning! Great variety of dishes and so delicious!Can’t wait to go back again :)

The most unclean place in Ulverston the floor hadn't been cleaned from the saturday night sticking to the floor and the leather on the seating was full of spilt drinks there was water all over the floor no wonder its only open four days a week

Went here with my husband for our valentine's meal. My husband had never had tapas before so it was new for him.The restaurant is upstairs which we did not know at first but someone noticed our confusion and helped us find our way thankfully. The atmosphere in the restaurant was a bit strange: not very many people, the same half a dozen strange songs on repeat and a Christmas jingle kept going off a lot in the nearby kitchen.We ordered 9 tapas dishes between us, many of which we were not blown away by, a couple were nice and some quite disappointing. The Pina Colada was ok but definitely not the best I've had.Staff were attentive and efficient.Overall I came away wishing we had gone somewhere else but it wasn't a horrible evening. Will we return? Not by choice but wouldn't necessarily say no if someone invite us to go.

Music is too loud. Moved on after 1 drink as couldn't hear the conversation. Cold. Cocktail was very nice and staff were friendly and helpful.

Service is slow, un- hygienic when popping lemon etc into drinks using hands not tongs. Not cheerful staff, look very miserable. Service work a smile costs nothing. 3rd Visit and this has not changed.

Great food, lovely cocktails, lights much too bright, needs to be more intimate. Very friendly & polite staff. Fab building, good service.

A development of an old bank. Interesting. Tapas served and cocktails. Needs some more atmosphere. A work in progress? Worth a visit!
