It was truly an amazing experience from the moment we arrived until we left,I went with my son his partner and my 15th month old granddaughter and my sons partners nana,my granddaughter and I loved the lasers in the trees which made colourful sparkles over the carpark quite magical, the inside was beautiful theres a partly covered glass floor so can see into the cellar, there's stunning wooden beams and cubicles, the atmosphere was friendly, the waitresses couldn't do enough for you and were especially kind and friendly with my granddaughter, the food was plentiful and tasty, will definitely be going again.

We stayed at the property recently and had a rather unpleasant nights sleep, which was disappointing as the room was nice. Snug 6 is above the kitchen and it has a constant hum from the fridges. The extractor fan has an outlet pipe that runs up the external wall of the room where the bed is situated. It is incredibly difficult to sleep in the room and we were reassured that the noise would stop once the kitchen closed but that wasn’t the case. I left a number with the member of staff on duty and asked to be called by a manager but this never happened.

Lovely local pub. Carvery was amazing, great portion sizes. Service wasn't as friendly as previously experienced, but a big party arrived not long after us so this might have effected this.

Another positive visit. Staff were really helpful with us and our 1 year old. Service was good. Bar meals this time as passing through and they were just as tasty as the mains. The price of the food and drinks is above average but worth it given the service and the food being quality.

Very busy when we went, so booking is advisable. We only had to wait a short time to be seated though, the serving staff were attentive and it didn't take long for our food to arrive. When it did it was piping hot and the portions were a good size. There's plenty on the menu to choose from and reasonably priced too. The only downside for me was the music being played was a little too loud but it didn't spoil the experience and would definately visit again.

Had a lovely meal here. The standout part of it was the salmon and prawn tagliatelle! The lobster glaze sauce was outstanding. I ate until it hurt!! The sticky toffee pudding was lovely and spongy too. Service was kind and efficient. Worth a visit.

Loved it here, very busy when we arrived. We were shown to a table, given the menu & within about 5 minutes of ordering our Sunday roast was on the table, could not fault our meal, meat was lovely & tender. Served with an enormous Yorkshire Pudding & all the trimmings. Staff very pleasant although they were run off of their feet.

The service is a bit all over the place - we had to ask for our drinks twice. The waiters didn’t really know The menu either which was a shame because we couldn’t get the information ourselves as they had the sheet to complete it in their hand. The beef was very tough and not vary flavourful. The pork was good. The gravy was not very tasty and thicker.Had much better Sunday roast with buffet option to be honest.

Great food, good ale selection and friendly staff. The kids'play area was one of the best I've seen and the strawberry and blueberry Eton mess was incredible. The main (a leek and spinach lasagne) was expensive but the right size - not too big, not too small. I would very gladly come again.
