Rose & Crown in South Lakeland

Lovely friendly pub with a great atmosphere. Was ideal for me and my wife on our visit there for a refreshing drink on a warm and sunny day whilst out walking in the area . Very highly recommended

Probably the best roast I've ever had. Kids said the fish and chips were nice also.

We visited in March with our dog. We were all made welcome, even the dog got a treat 👍🏻. Delicious food, roaring open fire and very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

This pub has been recommended us, and we're not disappointed. We've turned up without booking on a busy Sunday evening (half term) which was a risky manoeuvre, but we've been in luck. Although the place was full, they've managed to give us a table. The service is amazing. Professional, but very friendly and welcoming.The food was great, lovely pub meals with very big portions.Definitive worth to visit this place, but make sure you book a table.

Booked a table for four people for Saturday night. The food was excellent and the portion sizes are very generous. I highly recommend the halloumi starter as it was very well cooked. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Staff very friendly. Ordered mussels. Very large bowlful. Ice cream is proper ice cream. Really delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly helpful staff to decide which beer to have. Also helped with directions to Hoads Hill. Meals are around £15 but didn't have time to eat.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast here this week. The food was so good!! So much flavour and huge portions. Staff very friendly as well.

I ordered the Gammon Steak, which was the worst thing you could have in this restaurant. My friends ordered Lamb, burgers and chicken, and they found the meals quite good.Good vibes here. But don’t order the dark-force gammon steak!!!!!!
