Ships Wheel Cafe in South Lakeland

Visited here 2 days ago, just after opening. Had the Eggs Royale with a pot of tea. Freshly cooked and very tasty. Definitely recommended.

We went on a Friday night : when Mango is open till later. Had a fabulous burger & possibly one of the best I’ve ever had. It was great being able to take a bottle of our favour Red with us & gladly paying £3 Corkage. Thoroughly recommend!

Fabulous breakfast, so good I visited twice! Eggs benedict and lovely french toast on day 2.

Busy little place with good selection of tasty stuff to choose from. Cheerful, helpful staff. Dog friendly too.

I would feel guilty without leaving a review. I’ve just had the tomato, bacon and spinach soup it has got to be one of best experiences I’ve ever had as far as flavour is concerned. The food is good quality and the price is very fair. This will be somewhere I will be coming back to from now on.

Great food, lovely place

Delicious large breakfast. Everything had flavour, local bacon and sausage used. Children's sandwich meal was great value. Staff friendly. Possibly the best breakfast we've had in a long time. Would recommend 😋

Brilliant cafe/bistro with superb food, friendly staff in the centre of Ulverston. We booked for Sunday Brunch and a good job we did, they had to turn lots of people away. Yes there was a little wait, but who cares when you know you are going to get wonderful FRESH food. All the family enjoyed what they had ( all different I might add) but I have to mention my eggs benedict. They were perfectly cooked with a delicious sauce. Some of the best I have EVER tasted.!!! Thank goodness we live fairly local, because we shall be visiting now on a regular basis..
