Stonecross Manor Hotel in South Lakeland

Am very pleasantly surprised with my stay here so so laid back honestly came in the receptionist was so helpful and unknown to me is the manager the place has the wow factor all I can say is just come and have a lovely relaxing time that's it 10 out of 10 to all the staff thank you keep up the great work 👍 P.S they have a pool it's been so hot was amazing just to chill

The hotel was easy to find and had an appealing entry. Check in was easy. Our 3 rooms were on the small side but all were clean and bathrooms very nice. Breakfast was good - except - only one lady working hard to serve everyone! Certainly a pleasant stay.

Beautiful place. Three friends and I stayed here after a days horse riding on the beach an hour away. Couldn't believe our luck with the hotel, immaculate rooms, everything was lovely in the hotel, nice decor etc and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Great value for money and would def return if I get chance.

Hotel was easy to find. Photo are a little unrealistic as it looks much larger and in a country setting. Rooms smaller than you think we booked a superior king but the room is small and bathroom tiny. Staff a brusk but efficient. Dreadful night as a constant noise from generators didn't stop all night very annoying and room not particularly clean and curtains don't even fit the widow so the light comes in very early. I personally would give this hotel a miss.This hotel boast a pool steam room and sauna, none of which we could use.

Well appointed hotel which is very clean and well laid out in the communal & dining areas. The room was well laid out with everything you would need for a stay along with modern decoration which was very clean. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice which is cooked to order. Would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you, like myself, are not keen on the corporate style hotels such as Premier inns etc.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff really helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again. Good value for money

Lovely Hotel, staff were quite happy to allow an early check in as we had arrived quite a bit earlier then expected. Breakfast was very good.

We stayed for four nights and had a lovely time. The breakfast was great and filled you up so didn't need to eat until night time. We would definitely go back again

Stayed over last night. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are really nice and polite. The room is comfortable and warm. Bar nice, staff attentive. Evening meals delicious and decent portions. The breakfast again was excellent and the lady serving was very nice despite being rushed off her feet as her colleague was off sick. A customer was extremely rude to her despite it being obvious she was working really hard on her own but she handled it really well. She didn't deserve to be spoken to how she was and we felt for her. Could not fault the place.
