Family friendly pub in residential area not easy to get to from Kendal unless you have transport

Nice place. We didn't eat but it's a pleasant pub. Expensive.

The Owners and her Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. However the Drinks are far too expensive and need to be reduced.

Thus is my local and I can't fault it. There is always something to do (be it a quiz or karaoke), great, friendly staff, and reasonably priced.

The beer was expensive compared to other places selling the same beer

Just had a lovely afternoon tea at The Heron with my granddaughter and we thoroughly enjoyed it .Christine is really nice and couldn't have made us more welcome .Nothing was too much trouble .Will definately be going again .Nice ambience and lovely clean toilets .x

Very welcoming local pub. Called by this place as our daughter and her young family are moving to the local area and was pleased to find a great social atmosphere with many young families and ( as it happens ) a lot of fun with a great Elvis impersonator blasting out some classic songs in the corner. Looking forward to calling in every-time we pay our daughter a visit
