I ordered the fish and chips which was absolutely excellent. It was very busy as it was peak lunch time so there was a wait on taking our order which wasn't a problem at all as the staff were very pleasant and attentive. Also gave us a free drink each for our wait which I thought was above and beyond. Great service + great food.

Lovely restaurant over 2 floors with an outside yard with seating too. Very attractive, cottagey and old! Beams, characterful. Extensive menu at reasonable prices, delicious food with top notch service. Friendly and professional staff. Good for coffee, and cake, light lunches and full scale generous British fare. Popular with ladies that lunch - always a good sign. Licenced. Small frontage so look out for it, just round the corner from the river.

Clean and still adhering to social distancing. Girls waiting on were lovely, chatty and helpful. Food was very good. Really enjoyed lunch x

Shelley recently catered for a baby shower for my friend and everything was fantastic. She allowed to us have the whole venue for the event and catered to our (very specific) dietary needs which was really appreciated! Shelley and her team decorated for us and made the restaurant look amazing, the mother to be loved it and we all had a great afternoon. All the guests enjoyed their afternoon teas and left with leftovers as well! We can’t thank you enough for you all you did and for making the day just perfect! Thanks Shelley and all at the Joshua Tree.
