Food wasn't very good quality, food very salty and our stakes we extremely fatty and cheap cuts. Complained about the food and having a table outside the toilet (could smell the toilets throughout our meal) but was just offered a free drink.

Fantastic Sunday lunch at a great price and lovely staff!

Love this pub and the food. It has a lovely feel as soon as you walk in. The food quality here is excellent, the menu is quite small but the food is amazing. I have not enjoyed a meal so much in a long time

Very nice pub with great atmosphere and great selection of beers . Sat outside as weather was hot and sunny and me and my wife enjoyed the lovely refreshing drink . Highly recommended

We have had mostly good experiences of the Mill with occasional faults, but our most recent visit was really excellent: service just right, ingredients good, food well presented, nicely selected wine. Eating upstairs in the restaurant area for the first time helped, I think. We will be back soon, I'm sure.

Most delicious meal at the Mill at Ulverston. I read the Google reviews which were all very encouraging but the food was a revelation. Presentation was in par with an upmarket, fine dining experience and the tastes were spectacular. This was the best meal we had in the Lake District and we tried many top rated restaurants. It is a little out of the way for more traditional Lake District restaurants but worth it. Quite a few decent places in Ulverston.

Had an early dinner on a Saturday. The food was too notch. Probably the best kids meal I’ve had served to my brood. The fish goujons they had were super light and crisp. I have to say it’s a joy that they put so much effort into food for kids as it’s often overlooked in other restaurants. Mill burger was delicious and really big and good value I think. Service really polite and quick exactly what you want after a long drive to the lakes. I will def be back before I head home.

Stumbled across this little gem for lunch during our first visit to the beautiful Ulverston. Ordered delicious ciabatta sandwiches which came with great twice cooked chips and fresh slaw and salad, all for ÂŁ8.50. Enjoyed outside on their picturesque cobbled street area tables with some cold pints. Service was very friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend.

Good Friday night dinner spot! The place is vibey, even during Covid times, in neat decor and never ending dining, pub and terrace area.We had the flat iron steak dish and burger. Chips were amazing and all of them well cooked. Steak was tasty. The burger could have done with a few pickles or sauce, but all good still!Sticky toffee pudding was lovely, with a generous serving of toffee and ice cream.Definitely a good spot to visit if you’re in the area!
