Just been in for a Sunday roast and was glad to see a three meat carvery on. Really tasty food with great prices.

Looked on Google to find some where eat and saw this and gave it a Go . great home made food good sized portions as well nice friendly staff and locals. It was Saturday afternoon and was showing the football but that was ok no probs getting a table highly recommend her if you want a good home cooked meal not mass chain pub grub we had pie of the week (lamb) Thai of the week (chicken +ginger) and a large BBQ chicken baguette and chips all great value

Fantastic pub, great atmosphere, big garden, dog friendly. Delicious fresh food, the portions were really big and the prices were great value for money. I highly recommend this place and I hope to return soon!

What a great pub with amazing food! We stumbled onto it by accident and ended up having one the best fish and chips in my life. Very good prices (about £10 for a massive portion of F&C) and a lovely garden. Would return in a heartbeat.

Proper home cooked food at a very reasonable price. The chips were better than most chippies! Not shy on portions or banter :)

Excellent service & lovely beer garden with very comfortable seating. Social distancing is practised by everyone. Superb fish & chips take away every Friday & Sunday roast on Sunday (of course). Well worth a visit.

Stopped off here with the family on the way back home following a week in The Lakes. Very welcoming landlord (Stuart I think) & warm & cosy atmosphere. Food was excellent & the portions were good size. Extremely good value. The pub was quite busy for a Thursday afternoon which was a good sign. Chips like my mum used to make with real potatoes! Delicious. If we're ever back in the area in future we won't hesitate to return. Kids loved it too. Roast dinner from the childrens menu was a hit! Thanks.
