The Royal Barn in South Lakeland

The best panuozzo sandwich this side of Naples in fact anywhere . Alongside the pub is their "little hole in the wall" pananuozzo servery where either for takeaway or eat at one of the simple tables they serve the most delicious panuozzo ...pita cross pizza toasted sandwich . Made on the spot , served in a simple recyclable box with one of the best rocket salads ever and the finest pickled veg ...all this on a UK sidewalk ...street food at its very best . The young staff that serve you are professional articulate and patient . Did I mention they are so dog friendly there is even a Bonio jar for your 4 legged companion . Much of Kirkby Lonsdale seems rather twee dare I say middle England so to find such a gem which could easily compete either in Franklin Square NY or Balboa Street SF is nothing short of a miracle

Amazing venue, great for lunch, wonderful staff, WiFi, stunning selection of ales or if you prefer, they even roast their own coffee. Highly recommended 👍👍

What a place !! The staff here are very friendly. The choice of beers are fantastic and honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve had ! .. and I’ve had A LOT ! The ham and pineapple is outstanding. Highly recommended 👌🏼 👍🏼 🍕 🍺

We were a group of four and all really enjoyed the atmosphere, the choice of beers and hot drinks. The paddles of ale are a great idea. The staff were friendly and helpful. There isn’t much seating relative to the size of the barn. Don’t bother getting a pie, the pastry was soggy, (microwaved ?) and very expensive. This took the shine off an otherwise good visit.

Kirkby Lonsdale micro brewery is a warm, friendly place. Super friendly staff. It's a nice, cozy welcoming place. A good selection of reasonably priced home brewed beer. They also do their own coffee which you can buy in bags to take away. We bobbed in for coffee and cake. Delightful.

Great large space with plenty of cask and keg options. They looked great, sadly it was 10.30 am and I had fifty miles left to ride. The coffee was amazing however and the home made cheese scone. The staff were really friendly and helpful and a real effort was been made to be eco sustainable. Impressive, I'll come right back at a decent beer suping hour next time.
